Third fracken emergency visit thanks to sudden 40 Celsius temperature and lymphoma driven swelling feet, knee and legs.
wonder how long this will go on for?

While my Cuttle Cart 2 is on the fritz, any recommendations for 7800 emulators on the Mac?
-
Today has not been the best day. Besides being punted around the hospital, the SD cart guide came loose in my Cuttle Cart 2. :-S (annoyed)

Two overnight hospital stays in close succession is enough for me. Glad to be home! Whew

I’m loving the responsive design of AtariAge forums

Loving the new forums! Great work, Al!

Internet finally back! That was a long, long week!

Certainly will be happy to be discharged from the hospital. They’ve been treating me well, but two weeks is enough to not be sleeping in my own bed :-)

My wife really spoiled me this weekend. After the "not so good" medical news, she booked an impromptu trip to New York to see Billy Joel at his birthday at MSG. Had a great "long weekend" getting away as a tourist

New radiation treatment plan starting Saturday to manage pain in shoulders and knee. Fingers crossed that this works!

I think it will soon me time to prune my classic game collection. Likely Jaguar, XEGS and SMS first on the list

Well - it seems my lymphoma diagnosis is such that I'll never get to play my Atari 7800 XM. Kind of a bummer but may be looking for a new home for this soon.

My wife - who's been watching Marie Kondo and all about purging - asked why I possibly need an old CRT tv. I'm afraid to point to the 8bit consoles underneath, lest she ask why I also need them!

Bumblebee the movie is a lot like Bumblebee the character. Easy to write off yet surprisingly tenacious.

Why would people pirate and resell games from a homebrewer? They're supporting our old classic systems as a labour of love, not to get rich.

Re-watching: The Terry Kath Experience. Great doc. Gets away from the normal 'Chicago spin'. Dispels some of the persistent myths about Kath and Chicago

Doesn't seem to be. I saw it at the world premiere and own the DVD so I'm rewatching. It's really good ... a touching story about a daughter trying to learn about her father through the documentary process. All the surviving members of the original Chicago are interviewed and James William Guercio is too. Plus it benefits from not having that annoying Chicago "spin" that they do.

I honestly believe that there are few things that give me more anxiety than turning on an XBox One and navigating the UI. So convoluted, unintuitive and always changing. Absolutely atrocious design.

While my wife is wrapped up in a reality show, I'm having fun playing Bentley Bear's Crystal Quest on the 7800. Bob and the entire team did such a great job on this homebrew. So well done.

Someday, the Atari 7800 versions of Toki and Electrocop will be playable by all. (I can dream, can't I?)

It's an unpopular opinion, but I always dug 7800 Basketbrawl

Lymphoma treatment is really beating the crap out of me and sapping my energy. Looking for suggestions for comedy tv shows to make me laugh a bit more

Rewatching "Voyagers" from 1982. Loved it as a kid. A bit hokey now. Jeffery is really whiny and you can tell it's a "family hour" show, but still fun nostalgia and a cool idea.

Sega Master System night. Playing Rastan and Ninja Gaiden

iPad just up and wouldn't turn on today. Had to be completely restored.
