  1. I'll have to check mine and see how the label looks on it. Mitch
  2. How many version of the 5200 diag cart are there actually? I see Atariprotos.com lists 6 versions. which is a bit surprising. Mitch
  3. I guess I should have mentioned that as a possible cause when I saw your original post. The RGB not working threw me off. When the audio starting having issues on one of my Jags a year ago, I touched up the solder joints for the power switch and used a little Deoxit in the power switch. It has been working great ever since. I am pretty sure someone mentioned this on the forum a few years ago as well. I think that is where I got the idea from. Mitch
  4. Did you check if your original SD card was fragmented? That can cause issues for the JagGD, though mainly for CD games. Mitch
  5. It is not likely to be the capacitors, it is most likely the composite mod. Mitch
  6. I finally got around to checking my copy and it is an original Rev 2 version. Now to find someplace to scan it. Mitch
  7. I received my hard copy today, it looks amazing!! Also, I thought I would mention that the tips for Meltdown, Sentinel and the original Crossbow map were from me. I didn't bother crediting myself on my own website. Out of curiosity, did you base the color scheme on the Pole Position manual on the 800/XE manual? Mitch
  8. I am pretty sure the source code was found. At least a late beta of it. I probably have a copy on my hard drive somewhere if you can't find it with a Google search. Mitch
  9. Here is a pic of the original box. https://www.atari7800.org/console/joypad.htm Mitch
  10. It is hard to tell for sure from the pic, but the capacitor by the cart edge looks like it is bent down and possible shorting something. Try straightening it up. Mitch
  11. Interesting, I have never seen an A52 file with a header. Always just a renamed BIN file. Mitch
  12. It really depends on the 7800. Some play pretty much everything others have more issues. The list above are games that frequently have issues but that doesn't mean your 7800 won't play them. Mitch
  13. It is missing the left shift key cap. Here's a pic. Also has the 48K RAM upgrade. Both upgrades were done before I purchased it. It has an Atari Service sticker on the bottom, so the upgrades may have been done by an Atari Service Center. I have not opened it. I have the original keyboard, which I will include. I don't have the power supply, I think it was missing when I bought it. I tested it using the power supply from my Atari 800. Everything seems to be working correctly. Played a few games, hit every key on the keyboard in memo pad. RF is pretty clean. Shipping could be a little expensive depending on where you live. If you want it, make me an offer. Thanks, Mitch
  14. I have one somewhere. I think the keyboard is missing one of the keycaps though. If you are interested I can try and dig it up. Mitch

    2800?

Or by a 2800 from Mexico and not worry about any of that. Mitch
  16. The early version of the CX22 did not have the switch and was joystick mode only. It is not very common though. Mitch

    2800?

Also sold in Mexico as the 2800. Mitch
  18. If you have an OTG cable and a USB keyboard can you use the USB keyboard for the touchpad in Star Raiders? Mitch
  19. Here a link to an old forum thread with some interesting information. https://forums.atariage.com/topic/203928-who-owns-the-imagic-brand-these-days/ There's a link in that thread to an even older thread with some more information. Mitch
  20. I am assuming this was after a firmware update from the original version? Try changing the difficulty switches. Mitch
  21. I think there were a few Atari dealers that imported it. Like Best and B&C, but that could have been after the 7800 was discontinued. I should find my boxed CX78 and see what is the date on it. Mitch
  22. I was looking at the listing for the new CX78+ and it says "Based on the gamepad included with the European version of the Atari 7800 released in 1987". The problem is that the "European" 7800 wasn't released until 1989. Mitch
