  1. Stumbled upon this old thread. Is it still possible to make/order cart from AA for this Hack? (Tried the link above and it's dead)
  2. Agreed. I bought a PokeyOne Super Circus at the show last week and compared to my original Pokey I bought from AA a few years ago and my 51 y.o. ears cannot tell a difference at all! Amen for PokeyOne!
  3. Since that came out a few years ago, and he spoke last week about his own sequel, I don't think this is related.
  4. I've bought about 10 sets of these over the last 12 months from the same eBayer overseas. I use them on my VCS, 7800, XE so I don't ruin the ports from plugging/re-plugging in my various joysticks. Work great!
  5. I was at HSW's 2019 PRGE panel this past weekend in Portland and he said he still has the concept and nobody has thought of it yet. He said (paraphrasing) "I do have an idea for a Yars Revenge sequel...it's about 1.5 - 3.0 years out depending on things (most of the "things" are me just getting around to it though!)"...crowd laughs. He didn't say anything about someone else working on it though. I got the impression it was something he wanted to do.
  6. Highly recommend the Best lifetime paddles! Bought a pair and they are THE BEST!
  7. No, not me. I already have 3 ways to play 2600 carts on SD and 0 on 7800. I would definitely support 7800 only SD card support
  8. Curious if there a downloadable instruction manual?
  9. I dug through this thread trying to find a manual for this but only found box art. Curious if there exists a manual for this? Thanks!
  10. I just found this Event topic of the AA forum! A little late I know, but better late than never. I flew from Chicago to Austin just for this CGF show and attended for the first time. Unfortunately, probably won't be going back due to some of the same thoughts from other reviewers above. While it was generally a diverse floor of vendors and exhibits, the (1) lack of panels and (2) very few (only two?) Atari vendors will make me explore other shows. Of the 2 booths that I saw that had a lot of Atari stuff, I found a decent Black CIB copy of Imagic's Moonsweeper (didn't even know about the black boxes until then!). That and an Atari Red/White/Blue T-shirt were my only 2 purchases. Highlights: That being said, the "bitgod" booth was one of 2 specific highlights at the show. Very happy to see 8-bit represented and played their "Rain of Terror" paddle game! Unfortunately, could not buy it, but will now keep a lookout here and do some searching on this forum to find out if it's available to purchase! The second highlight was the authors panel with Brett Weiss. Very fun stories from someone who definitely enjoys the classics. Great trips down memory lane! Since the California Extreme show looks to be the same weekend (at least it was this year in 2019), I'm going to likely try to put that on my list for 2020 and pass on CGF again. In closing, PRGE can't come soon enough. I'm attending it for the first time next month and plan to bring an extra suitcase, if not just for the AA releases!
  11. Oh my! Sending good vibes for your dad. I wish him and your family well.
  12. Hey there, SpiceWare! Checking in on this...
  13. F yeah! In addition to others mentioned above, may be able to use for Moon Patrol too!
  14. Interesting observation related to this. Tommy T say the Amico Marketing budget is $10M, which is > 3x Atari's Indigogo Campaign that netted only $3M. So that's some pretty good competition for being small time! I'm glad Tommy T and company are in this "game" to show everyone how to market and communicate with the community!
  15. I always wondered if someone could dig into Missile Command and add the satellites that are in the arcade version: "Arcade Missile Command" if you will for the 2600!
  16. I'll be there for the first time! Will probably grab a copy of Defender of the Crown too!
  17. Any plans you can share to help us build our own similar version?
  18. Maybe with Al's new ROM download part of AA he is working on yet to come out!
  19. I've bought before from him on ebay and contacted directly there. I think I might have been his beta tester!
  20. It's definitely worth it. I just bought the latest Robotron one and it came in last week. Solid construction and worth it for Robotron / Time Salvo. Also, there's a switch there which allows it to be used for other games like StarMaster, Raiders, etc. Very happy with it!
  21. Very interesting! Can you share where you bought them? I would love to give them a try!
  22. Yes, please! My first time attending! Kaboomer Chicago, Illinois
