ok i wasnt watching as things were going down but here are my symptoms #1 my 2 port 5200 is not working with any games any more just blackness #2 my star trek game no longer works in my 4 port unit all other games work #3 my 2600 adapter still plays games in the 2 port unit #4 suspicious character leaving unexpectedly #5 firebuttons have fingernail dig marks and joystick is sticky #6centipede and missile command sticky #7 pencil like marks on my trackball

i wish they could have made toobin and elevator action they would have been great in the verticle orientation and i do not see them being outside the technical limitation of the lynx i am pretty much asking what games would you have liked to see on the lynx back in 1992 or so

i assume you had no reccomendations for the sports and fighting cause there is nfl football, cyberball,awesome golf,baseballheros,basketbrawl and for fighting if you mean like mortal kombat/streetfigher there is pitfigther and for a streets of rage type kung food so many games have that feel like they are unfinished or not polished like they released a beta dirty larry and scrapyard dog feel that way as for an rpg i guess bill and ted is as close as you could get its weird how slime world looks more detailed on the lynx than the genesis i got it for the lynx first then the genesis and man its just wrong on t he genesis dirty larry has the feel of robocop kung food is like strets of rage checkered flag is like poleposition blue lighting is afterburner the perfect arcade games for the lynx are ninja gaiden,rampage,rygar,roadblasters,paperboy i started out with that batch of games and i've been signifigantly dissapointed with every game i have bought since them

games i enjoy are rampage ,casino,ninja gaiden,roadblasters,paperboy,california games(dammit why didnt they have the frisbie game)slime world,gates of zendocon,apb games that annoy me ninja gaiden 3 rampart blue lightning double dragon game i wish i could get but dont want to pay more than $20 raiden

i got 34 now and batman retarns is on the way

try it on the emulators you will see raiden is a vert orient game like klax or nfl and you are familiar with the largeness of the pixels on the lynx realistically its probably cheaper to get a nomad and raiden trad than a lynx and raiden unless you dont mind a frankenstein cart how safe are the proto cards with that chip hanging out in the elements no protection from static or garbage

yea i wish i could make a raiden myself raher than pay someone else for a pireat copy pirate is such a strong word it would be like someone making atari combat cartridges for sale but i think toei or micronet ought to get a check it would probably be better if someone could come up with a adapter to take a flashdrive

but what is in question is did they dump more than ET carts and what about the commodore graveyard in pennsylvania with all the unsold 128s when the amiga came out then the home for all the ocean games for the amiga

yea the guy probably etches his own boards with coke and battery acid and uses tubes like doc brown in back to the future 3 i keed i keed anybody know how to make a setup to burn eproms what chips do i need and anybody have an overlay for the board is is possible to do it on one side or do you have to etch both sides i can etch a board and belt sand the contact end to match a lynx cart but what chips do i need to round up

this was the moms favorite joystick but was not the best for controllability for storage you twist the stick and the cord retracts no button on the base is possible though

back in the day i thought it was great i windered why the background wasnt black (it was for space invaders) but it worked fine it wasnt til other people complained that i noticed how much it sucked fo course backthen air sea battle was my favorite game so you can tell what kind of gaming retard i was

is this the landfill where they buried 50,000 copies of ET for the 2600? or is it the one where they had had to bring every copy of 5200 cloak and dagger to be beamed up by the aliens

i have 33 different lynx games about 5 doubles i origionally bought the lynx in 1991 along with electro cop,road blasters,rygar,slimeworld,ninja gaiden,paperboy since then i gathered a few more i really wish they made toobin but i dont like the verticle games maybe i'm a freak or my eyes are too far a part but when playing klax it looks dark to one eye and bright in the other i came up with this sotrage device back then i had my dad sew a corduroy pouch you fold both ends in then the middle it was good when i only had 16 games but now that i have 33 some have to pull double or tripple duty i kinda feel stupid i traded a guy my rampart for his pinball jam back in the day but rampart was too hard
