Since someone took a passive aggressive jab at me the other day without mentioning my name, here’s an equally passive aggressive response - I blocked all of your posts and comments so I’ll no longer see them. Thanks and have a blessed day. 😉

Someone's taking jabs at you on here? Why?? You've always been a pretty easygoing guy on here, and even in more heated moments from WAY back in the day, you were hardly aggressive about pushing any viewpoint. Oh well, idiots will be idiots, I suppose. Just ignoring them is the way to go...which is advice I should take myself before giving it to anyone else, actually. All I can really say is, keep on keepin' on, the idiots will run themselves out the door eventually.

Imagine the devastation and destruction one could command if they used x86 in their battlebot! Not this wimpy ARM/Arduino garbage..

She dangled before me the grapes of a lifelong friendship, which she no longer intends to let me pluck.

Still debating on whether or not I should open up my brand new VCS.

I plan to visit Japan in 2024. Right now, I'm learning Japanese with the website Duolingo.
Anyone else use that site? It is very handy.

Finally have Big Sur running stable on my Mac Mini. It took a while since it's not officially supported (2012 model). Turns out it was a corrupted external hard drive that was causing my random crashes (I think anyway).

Most third party SSDs should work fine in a Mac Mini. The problem with the Mac Pro I think was due to its design, which allowed for less flexibility in third party components. I'd highly recommend upgrading your Mac Mini to 16 GB if you plan on using it for a few more years, you'll definitely notice the difference if you end up using a lot of tabs in your browser.

Watching SteveMRE1989Info on YouTube; he's eating reindeer stew from a Norwegian arctic field ration.
It actually looks good!

Watched Star Trek: The Motion Picture yesterday and promptly passed out. I thought people were exaggerating.

I just called all parties trying to monetize on the Amiga name/brand/technology to be rabies infested vultures. It feels both good and appropriate.

Do Macs have stupid updates that it forces you to update and takes away 20 minutes of your life?

That's just great Apple. Saying you have the fastest integrated graphics is like saying you're driving the fastest Yugo.

Hunter (1984-1991) is on Tubi - all seasons. Cool formula -- tough rule breaker paired with a beautiful fellow misfit on the force. Mopar heaven with McCall's 1984 Dodge Daytona Turbo Z which was later upgraded to the newer version. I've watched 4 episodes already. "Works for me."

I think that there should be an alternate AtariAge chat channel. How about either Viber, Signal, or Telegram?

so my daughter's friends came over today for the first time in months, and I recently hit an amazing lynx score (the stuff in the market place is actually less than half the score save the systems, the rest I'm keeping)
and the older boy wanted to play games, I asked if he wanted to try out some multiplayer, he wanted to so while holding the lynx 2 I asked do you want the big one or the small one, he says the small one,
so I hand him the lynx 2, and he says wait what? then I take out the lynx 1 and his jaw drops.
Then we played some of the lynx multiplayer games, battle wheels sure is fun, as is xenophobe (probably the best xenophobe) and we had some laughs at pit fighter

I just felt old and out of the loop. AMD has announced that they think 4 GB RAM on a video card is too little for current gaming, and think the lower end should be raised to 6-8 GB. On the video card, not on the computer itself.
