  1. Pretty much the same, I got an A+ rating, got a lot of the achievements unlocked and basically decided to stop. It was fun while it lasted, I will say that.
  2. Say what you will and I fully realize you do your whole contrarian thing on this forum, but you don't find it a little odd with all this branding? You look at a box for the Switch, it says Nintendo Switch. You go to playstation.com and it says Sony right on the top. The only mention I see of Blaze on the evercade.co.uk site is some small copyright text. And where is Blaze's website? I found a Blaze Entertainment and it's clearly not them. What appears to be their Twitter/X page says "you're probably looking for @evercaderetro". Who is the one company that owns both Evercade and Funstock? Is that Blaze? Imagine buying a Super Pocket not knowing any of this, you get home and find out it plays Evercade carts. OK so why is it a Hyper Mega Tech brand handheld named the Super Pocket that plays Evercade branded games made by a different company named Blaze? And I'm not entirely sure why they created the Hyper Mega Tech brand if it's only sold in the same handful of places as the Evercade products. To me it all seems needlessly confusing for the average person. It of course doesn't change anything, just seems really bizarre to me is all.
  3. Do you think Mortal Kombat could've saved the Jaguar?
  4. That's a nice start to a collection! Welcome to the Lynx world.
  5. I didn't order the LE consoles because I knew the Capcom one was pointless since I own an EXP and it was only the bundle, but the LED thing never occurred to me. I looked at some marketing pics and they don't even show it on while the screen displays an image. But also the LED on my EXP bleeds everywhere so I guess that should be expected from a budget device, which these are.
  6. Yeah the branding is really odd, I also don't understand why they hide the Blaze name. Or why they pretend Funstock has nothing to do with Blaze. Looking at both my EXP and Taito SP boxes there's only one mention of Blaze on the bottom. Are they trying to distance themselves from the old Blaze of Xploder cheat cart days? The building addresses for Blaze and Funstock are the same, why act as if they're unrelated companies?
  7. Those LE Super Pockets were only available from Funstock. And there is 100% absolutely no connection between Blaze/Hyper Mega Tech and Funstock. They just for some reason get exclusives no other retailer does. But, no connection.
  8. I look sideways a little bit at grown-ass men who brag on Atari forums about their school playground combat.
  9. I'm not sure I'm understanding your last comment. The Capcom Super Pocket with its oddly placed shoulder buttons and blue light have nothing to do with Japanese gamers. Blaze/Hyper Mega Tech is not a Japanese company. Neither Capcom nor Taito designed the Super Pocket devices.
  10. What are you asking for a 7800? Loose? PSU included?
  11. Very cool, nice to see more repro parts available.
  12. Not knocking it at all, just genuinely curious. It's hard to tell from those smaller pics and it's not uncommon for Japanese sellers to re-bag items. If someone wants a DC to put an ODE in, this would be a much cheaper option than a US version.
  13. Have you tried using the volume buttons?
  14. There are some on YT: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=BIOFURY+3do
  15. I've always found it best to just email Telegames directly vs trying to order from their site. If Atari doesn't want those games published and Telegames is still doing it I definitely would not mention it on a forum owned by Atari.
  16. I personally haven't found the screen to be too small, but like I said, I do agree w/the rear buttons. How anyone w/adult hands is playing SF2 on the Capcom edition is beyond me. I can't see this replacing my EXP. I feel like the scanlines option should've been left off this lower res screen, they just don't work for me anyway. For someone just discovering the Evercade, I think $60 is a good entry point plus it's cheap enough to purchase a couple extra carts. The EXP will be the go to for people more into the library.
  17. Sounds no different than people who complain that Best isn't Amazon. If people don't want to order from Telegames for whatever reason that's on them.
  18. Yes, Telegames is still in business. Look at Jag prices today compared to 5 years ago, there's your answer on if there's demand for old Jag games.
  19. That's good to know, Atari Gamer has been my go-to site for Lynx cart info, especially in terms of variants.
  20. Yeah, I'm gonna have to go ahead and disagree with you here. Their first video back in July mentioned Evercade compatibility. It was also mentioned on the landing page on their original website:
  21. Keep the fumes in. Safer that way.
  22. https://www.best-electronics-ca.com/lynx.htm
  23. Well the original announcement in 2020 stated 500 copies available so people have had a couple years to get a copy: https://songbird-productions.com/2020/12/22/its-the-most-wonderful-time-of-the-year-part-3/ The current listing says 250 copies, so again, plenty to go around as it hasn't sold out since Jan 2021.
  24. There's also what CJ said. IMO this topic is misleading as Songbird never stated OOP. Best Buy stated they will no longer be carrying physical video media, that doesn't mean all blu-rays are OOP. Although I still believe the IS2 and Breakout 2000 situation is due to Atari rather than supply chain.
