My Atari 5200 Player One Port is stuck on firing. For example, Atariage Tempest is always firing like a machine gun even when controller is not plugged in. Tested different games and controllers so its definitely the console. Could use advice on a good starter soldering kit too cause this old school hobby is getting too expensive to ship away for repairs every time another glitch occurs lol

I didn't hear of the medical issues until last night on this forum so maybe it's that. I'm from Boston so I got hit the worst. My order was about a month before the February storms and the Classic 2's were listed in stock. Strange because Syzygy has a big following so it seems legit. If my situation gets resolved, I will be sure to let Atariage members know.

BBB of New York now has this on record. I saved my BBB emails. I tried countless times to contact through Syzygy internet email, Styzygy Facebook messenger/page post with no response. It is now July so I don't want to see this happen to fellow Atariage members. If Curt has an explanation, I don't need to hear it, I just need my order or my money back.

O.K. So I'm not alone. I purchased an Atari Style Classic 2 USB controller from the Syzygy online store on January, 2015. By February I was getting email responses back that it should go out the following day with tracking. 2 weeks later he said the store had been closed because of too much snow. By late March I reported Syzygy to The Better Bisiness Burue of New York. BBC reported no response back through mail, phone and email. When I posted a few times on the store Facebook page, an other FB member told me he is still waiting for his February order. Our complaint FB posts soon disappear but I still saved my emails. As of now, I still don't have my order but my card had been charged.

Mike Murphy (Emu7800 D2D creator) responded back. He said the best you can do is maximize the window when using Win32. If you get Windows 8.1, there is a store version (free) that does run full screen and works the same.

Hello, I just got the new Emu7800 V1.6.D2D running on my Windows 7 Desktop. My only question: How do I configure full screen? I checked the Emu7800 Properties but It only had a 640x480 Resulution option.

Is anyone currently using Handy with a joystick? It will not detect my Philips recoil controller when I select the joystick option. Either it's not compatible or maybe I'm just missing something.

I also have my Xarcade Tankstick connected to my computer and Lynx emulator does not detect that either.

Hello, I just got Handy 0.95 up and running last night. I checked off the joystick in the menue options but it will not detect my USB Phillips Recoil Controller. This controller works great with my other emulators. Can anyone please let me know if there is a way to get my controller detected?

I'm in the middle of a saved state game of Midnight Mutants, but I need help! How do I find the Mega Blaster. Grandpa Munster said it is hidden at the dead end of the cavern. I don't see anything at the dead end. Do I need to go a step further to find the Mega Blaster or am I at the wrong dead end?

Just to have some data points on the record, do you know what type of processor and sound card are in each of those machines? Sorry it took so long to get back. As far as what type both computers have, I'm not sure off hand. Maybe this is something I can check out in the control panels. If I see any differences, I will let you know.

All is well with the great Prosystem Emulator! After many trials and "ERRORS" on my computer, I downloaded Prosystem onto my wife's computer and the sound is perfect. I'm not sure how to fix my computer. The sounds still works on everthing else, including my other emulators.

Unless Mame is actually running at the same time, then having it installed shouldn't make any difference. Sounds like it's probably a result of the DirectSound issue. If it was working before, then something must have broken DirectSound somehow. Thanks. I will check the Prosystem Emulator sites. If there are any trouble shooting methods to fix this error message, I will mention it in this blog just in case this problem pops up with anyone else.

It did work fine before and I redownloaded it a few times. My Stella, Sega Fusion and Mame emulator's sound work. I checked the log and the two errors are: "Direct sound has not been initialized" and "Direct input has not been initialized" I did add Mame recently, so this may have slowed my computer down a bit for Prosystem.

Has anyone ever had this type of sound problem with prosystem? I'm not sure if this is just an isolated flaw when using on my computer.

My Prosystem emulator on Windows XP has started having sound problems. Some sounds are distorted and other sounds are missing. My computer and my other emulators sound work fine, so I redownloaded Prosystem again with no luck. I tried older Prosystems too and the same missing sound issues occur. I tried adjusting the sound settings in Prosystem and that didn't solve the problem, so I'm not sure where to go from here. Could anyone please help me out on this problem?

I'm currently working on this project with a local friend. Atariage blogs are a good place to start because I need to know if there is enough worthwhile interest. If I can generate enough to share with the Atari community, I will keep you all posted. Thanks!

Could anyone recommend a qualified person to take on this project? Hopefully, this is possible.

Since everyone seems to agree that this save device should be on a separate cartridge, what about the cover art. If this cartridge can take advantage of the pause button, it may beable to save other 7800 games as well. So Im thinking that the cover art should not be specific to just Midnight Mutants.
