Excuse me, I am off-topic but I have just discovered Willy Higinbotham's Tennis for Two (1958) gameplay and I am impressed, in particular by ball's simulation. http://www.bnl.gov/bnlweb/pubaf/pr/PR_display.asp?prID=842 Compared to it, Atari Pong's (1972) ball movement is very simplistic.

So you are the author of SDG. Congratulations!

I also add Commodore PET and its robot-like design. -
Wonderful Mario. A game for kids and adults. I have voted for it!

Before playing, don't forget to show her a Cookie Monster video or to gift her a Cookie Monster plush! Too much work! Version number is in the listing and in the filename. Already maximum speed, Cookie Monster is made of three players! Sorry... You can improve speed slightly compiling the program but the game remains for little children. Yes, the game can be improved in many ways. I think the first one is soundtrack. Children like music; an AA user has promised me to do "C is for Cookie" song in CMC format but now he is busy. Another simple improvement would be to make various playgrounds. Then, but I would need time, other games could be included. I have this controller! Yersterday I have sent CM to various website (the game is one month old but I have promised ABBUC to wait until new magazine's release) and I have updated my website only today because I have done a little restyling (descriptions under pictures). I don't have a driving controller

Version 1.3 of my simple educational game: faster and with a better playground (see second screenshot in the first post).

Hi Mathy. TOCA for GBC has 7 computer opponents so I would be glad to have more then one or two opponents! But I don't know if Atari can stand an 8-way scrolling screen and more then two cars (each car is made of 2 players to have multicolor).
-
Do you think that Rally Speedway is the best overhead scrolling racing game doable or would it be possible something like TOCA Touring Car Championship for GameBoy Color? Obviously not at the same graphic level but with isometric view and one or two opponents. By the way, this game has an excellent playability.

Indeed. We must put on the Internet as much information as possible. -
From FAQs The following are reported as incompatible with models other than the original Atari 400/800. I know that probably I am the only Italian speaking user here but I want to let you know that I have finished my website devoted to Atari 8-bit: Atari 8-bit: 400/800/XL/XE It was absolutely necessary to have an Italian website doing justice to these important machines (important not only because we love them but also from an historical point of view). In the homepage I have synthesized very important facts often unknown by people: for example their commercial success and the fact that in 1979 8-bits Atari were ahead of their time, in particular for their architecture and graphics capabilities. I have also pointed out that the heir of A8 is Amiga. I have done a lot of work, in particular for this page, http://www.santellocco.com/atari/info.htm. Perhaps you cannot understand Italian (but Google translation isn't bad, apart design's mess) but I hope you will appreciate Atari story's images and the screenshots regarding games firstly programmed on Atari (first group) and regarding games converted to Atari or programmed at the same time (second group).

Marsupilami, is Catherine Zeta-Jones the girl next to Zorro in your beautiful avatar?

Could someone crack Genesis and make an .atr image?
-
Thank you very much Wickeycolumbus. I need it for an Italian website I am doing dedicated to Atari 8-bit computers, in particular for Atari story page: http://www.santellocco.com/atari/info.htm The only problem are the round patterns in the right upper part of the console. Mimo, I have checked all the pages of the heavy sixers thread but I haven't find a photo with a joystick.
-
I need a good photo like this one found on wikipedia (front with at least one controller) but of an heavy sixer : Thank you.

Awesome. PS I would like to have The Hobbit for Atari!
-
Unfortunately we cannot use Atari floppy disks to save large amounts of data otherwise I would use them instead of CDs! Seriously speaking, I don't trust CD/DVDs.

I have read, for example in Atari Historical Society website, that SIO bus is a simplistic version of the USB. In fact the USB and the Atari SIO have a lot more in common then many would think. One of Atari's original computer engineers, Joe Decuir who created the Atari SIO bus is also one of the team of engineers at Microsoft to help design and holds patents on the USB. Can someone explain to me why this bus is so particular, compared with other home computers buses of the time?

What about these games? International Karate / World Karate Championship Return of Heracles Star League Baseball

So you were right when you said XM301 modems could be useful in the future! I am glad that you (I think your wife too!) and your house are OK.
