  1. I have just revisited this forum and noticed my mistake! Sorry about that Dragoncat. I've also fixed your name up on my website
  2. Hi everyone, I am looking to sell my entire retro video game collection as one bulk lot. I know this is an Atari Forum, but there are loads of atari consoles and hundreds of atari games in my collection aside from that, there are loads and loads of other retro gaming related items so feel free to check out the links below for more info: There is enough stuff here to basically fill a double garage. I live in NSW australia so i guess if you wanted it all then you would want to live around here somewhere. here is a not quite up to date list of items: http://www.retrobrad.com/collection.pdf i have uploaded a video of the collection on youtube: http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZJLLeicZkM also you can see some high res photos here: http://www.retrobrad.com/electronics/?cat=1 if anyone is interested, please send me an email brad@retrobrad.com thankyou and God Bless! -brad

  5. Hi guys, im planning on putting on a retro games convention right here in Australia (either Canberra or Sydney) just wanted to see how much interest there would be and if people would actually turn up. Basically there will be all sorts of retro systems to play, competitions, information, displays, buy sell swap section etc... -brad www.retrobrad.com
  6. the brand new - www.retrobrad.com Well its been quite a few months in the making now but i have just opened up my completely re-vamped retrobrad.com site. I hope that in the coming weeks/months/years it will grow into a great community where retro gamers from around the world can browse through loads of retro gaming related material, interact in the forum and play to win in the online arcades section. feel free to drop by and check it out! -Brad
  7. Most of my retro collection can be seen at my website www.retrobrad.com just click on the 'My Collection' button at the top of the page. ive actually added approximately 300 cartridges, 20-30 consoles, heaps of controllers and other accessories and heaps of retro magazines and approx 2,000 amiga disks, but i havent added them to my list yet. Also ive got a section on my site where people can upload their photos of their collections, ive only got one person there so far so anybody is welcome to send me through there photos! thanks!!! retrobrad
  8. The power supply is actually 9 Volts DC (1 Amp), although I think a 500 mA supply would work. This link has a mod to add a standard DC plug - might be easier than paying for o/s freight just for the sake of an annoying plug: http://www.geocities.com/atari7800mod/7800_powermod.html If you need any help doing the mod, drop me a line. also if you have a power supply at home that you dont use that is a higher rating than 9v you can make a simple little circuit that can fit inside the 7800 that steps the voltage down to 9v. i.e you would be able to use an old printer power supply that might be 24volts etc... again if you need help, drop me a line. Brad
  9. Ive been a retro collector for a few years now (should have started earlier!) my almost complete collection can be seen at my website - WWW.RETROBRAD.COM just click on 'My Collection' ive got alot of double up / triple ups of games and consoles, especially the really common titles like super mario bros 1 (36 copies) the ninja approx 40 copies, super tennis approx 25 copies, and as far as systems go ive got on average 10 - 15 of each system i.e snes, nes, megadrive, master system, gameboy, lynx, game gear etc... i'm good mates with ***Astroboy*** and used to go to garage sales with him when i lived up in newcastle, hes always got loads of retro games for sale on ebay so check his auctions out. all up my cartridge collection (for all systems) is well over 1,000 carts. i have approx 3,000 - 4,000 amiga disks and boxes full of controllers! one of my best recent finds was a boxed Vermin game and watch which i got for $2 from an op-shop. on ebay these sell from around $200 - $400. If anyone is interested in swapping, you can check out my collection and then contact me, im also right into retro modding too. and lastly, my mates and i are looking at having an annual retro games convention in either melbourne or canberra. we just need to see if anyone would actually be interested in going??????
  10. Hi everyone, ive been putting together a website for quite a few months now, it's www.retrobrad.com i still have a long way to go with it but you can find things like game reviews, modifications, Console info, online video game arcade, chat room, forum, you can look at my ever growing collection (and swap?), you can post photos and info of your own collection also, theres a downloads section, and also a section dedicated to Super Mario Kart (my favourite game) where you can check out best track times, get cheats and even download some new tracks. PS i live in Australia (Wagga NSW), myself and a few mates are looking at holding our own retro games convention either in Melbourne or Canberra - we want to make it at least an annual event. if anyone is interested in going please drop me a line.
