    On November 26. 2022. Jim Davis (the creator of Garfield) dedicated a strip to his friend Charles M. Schulz. He would've been 100 years old that day.. Schulz is the gentleman who created the internationally favorite Peanuts strip and two of the most well known characters of all time, Charlie Brown and Snoopy.

     

    Interestingly, Schulz is also the same cartoonist that convinced Jim Davis to completely reimagine Garfield from a four legged feline, to a more cartoonish two legged cat. By making the transition, the Garfield franchise popularity skyrocketed from the mid-1980's-onwards.  Thank you Mr. Schulz for the suggestion. :)

      @NeonPeon HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Oh man! I remember this episode on Garfield & Friends so fondly Mark. Me and my friends would sing, "Oh were the Ants" for weeks when he use to see Ant Farms on our Science lab in school. What fantastic times it was Mark. I miss those days growing up. Thank you for sharing this with me and the rest. It made my night for sure bro. :-D
