  1. Nice! I was surprised to see Hagane in the video, it was pretty popular here in germany. One of the best (and hardest) action games i played on the SNES. How about showing Realm in your next video?
  2. Actually it's the other way around - Ebivision Pac-Man is the original game made from scratch and Pesco is an adaption of it. IIRC they changed the theme of the game and reduced the enemies to 3 due to fear of a lawsuit (as theloon already said). That's too bad because Pesco is just a decent Pac-Man clone as it is - would be much more fun with 4 enemies and a few different mazes.
  3. Ebivision Pac-Man is also missing in the poll.
  4. Gothic 1 + 2 (PC): Finished both games (again) last month. IMO the best Action-RPGs on the PC despite the few bugs and crashes that still occur in the latest patched versions (played ver. 1.08k of Gothic 1 and ver. 1.30 of Gothic 2). I have to play Gothic 2 again with the Night of the Raven Add-on later this year.
  5. At least they chose a fitting name for this console - just read it backwards. I say NO TO the OTON.
  6. Please attach the .bin of your game so we can actually play it.
  7. Apparently they are also planning a Pikmin anime. I doubt that Pikmin can be made into a good anime - it will be probably just as crappy as the Animal Crossing anime. http://nintendoeverything.com/miyamoto-talks-pikmin-anime/
  8. I hate handheld systems. I just don't like playing games on a tiny screen and touchscreen controls like on a DS or smartphone just suck. So all i can say about every handheld console ever made is - NO THANKS!
  9. The Lost Ninja (C64) Super Pong (Atari 2600) Princess Rescue (Atari 2600)
  10. Have a look at GOG.com, they have lots of old games there revised to run on modern machines. And contrary to Steam the games from GOG.com have no DRM which is a huge plus.
  11. You can get 4 Jaguar-CD games at RGCD Shop.
  12. Sky Shark (C64) Das Atom U-Boot (C64) Ceviuz (C64)
  13. Brütal Legend is now available at GOG.com for $9.99 for the first week.
  14. Carling The Spider (VIC-20) Berks (C16) Guns 'n' Ghosts (C64)
  15. I would like a Turtles clone (or better yet an 1:1 port if possible) for the 2600 too. There's a port for the Emmerson Arcadia 2001 which is one of the best games for the system IMO: There's also a quite similar 2600 game called Alien's Return so i'm sure the 2600 could handle a 1:1 port of Turtles.
  16. You can grab Evoland for $3.99 today.
  17. Just watched the video - the game looks really nice. Well done!
  18. Turrican 3 (C64) CGE Adventures (Atari 2600) Super Turrican (NES)
  19. If you like Gravitar be sure to check out Thrust+ Platinum, should be right up your alley too. Deimos Lander is another nice Lunar Lander style game. Unfortunately the final version is (was?) only available for the Wii. Also, have a look at Titan Diamonds and Titan Diamonds 2. There's a decent Lunar Lander port on the Atari Flashback 2 console and i found this (pretty hard) game in my homebrews folder: Lander (2008) (Bastian Framke).bin
  20. Because It's There (Atari 2600) I Project (Atari 2600) Unepic (PC)
  21. I bought Etrom - The Astral Essence (PC) new for 0.50 € at Amazon a few months ago.
  22. You can always ask someone else to make a few tunes for you. Here's a thread with music from Der Luchs, IIRC he is offering to compose music for games (for free): http://atariage.com/...37-a2600-music/
  23. That's much better! Zipping around the screen is much more fun now! You probably should give the player less time to collect items though as it's a bit too easy now... For making the game more difficult how about adding obstacles (playfield-pixels) on the first screen in the later rounds? And you could let the king shoot lasers (missiles) out of his eyes or add a moving obstacle you have to jump over in later rounds. Anyway, i'm glad you keep on working on the game and looking forward to see how it turns out...
  24. I can only remember a few of my first games: Atari 2600: Defender (pack in) Commodore 64: The House Mix (compilation with Artura, Deflektor, Night Raider, Skate Crazy, Motor Massacre and Dark Fusion - bought it together with the computer). Sega Saturn: Command & Conquer (pack in) NES: Super Mario Bros. (bought the console with the game and 2 controllers cheap from a friend).
  25. Neat little game! I think it would be much more fun with diagonal movement, the controls are too stiff the way they are now. It's also a bit on the easy side - IMO it should get faster/more difficult with each round. And how about using the fire-button for running faster? That being said i like this game and it's a nice start but as it is it's just fun to play for a few minutes. I think it has potential to become a great game (= good enough to be released on cart) if you keep working on it.
