    Some of the patches have come from my original collection of Activision patches that I earned directly from Activision in the 1980's. More I have bought through thrifting and estate sales. Still others have traded me from their own personal collections. Some are from eBay. I have been collecting Activision patches since the 1980's. I can validate their authenticity. If you have any doubt, money back is offered on all patches of course. But there should not be any doubt.

    I have a Skiing patch that is the same quilted texture like your Chopper Command patch. It was probably made by the same company. I didn't get the Skiing patch from Australia. I got it from someone on eBay in the USA many years ago. The general consensus from everyone I talked to at that time was that it was not an original patch. But it looks really great just as your version does of Chopper Command. My own personal guess is that these were special patches made for Activision that were meant to be attached to their promotional wear, like jackets that they gave to stores and Activision employees. These patches would certainly be much more durable when worn or washed than the original patches that were given to gamers when sending in a high score.     A large portion of the price increase has been due to eBay and PayPal reporting all transactions as income on form 1099. Sellers have to pay State and Federal Income tax on all transactions for the year if sales total over $600 for the year. Postal costs have also increased substantially.

    Added a contact form on the website if you want to contact me about a bulk deal or price reduction on patches outside of eBay. That can save us both money! eBay fees are sky high. Now they've even started to charge sales tax to buyers in most states. AND, they are sending sellers 1099's on their income tax if you sell over $600 in one year. That is BRUTAL!

    1. The post office never scanned the parcel into their system when it was received (this happens frequently) and it subsequently got lost. 2. The seller never presented the parcel for shipment (if they do this they can get a refund for the label when it wasn't used). It could be an honest mistake or on purpose, who knows. If he sells a lot of stuff, he may not even know himself. 3. Sometimes a parcel will show up delivered with only the delivery scan and no other scan along the way. This used to happen a lot when they only offered "delivery confirmation". But now they actually call it "tracking", so it's supposed to scan at all locations.
