  1. The Commodore 1702 Monitor is very nice. Picked one up recently on e-bay for $25. I was using an old Zenith Green Monochrome display monitor which has a certain nostalgic value but now that I got the 1702 I am very please with it.
  2. Here is a set of 10 Christmas images I made using the Rasta Converter software. Enjoy! christmas 2012.zip
  3. I thought it was just me replying to some fellow Atarian that had spent a bit too long in a large mug of ale..In fact in my reality thats the festive picture of what his message was about. my reality, my rules and all that.
  4. Pass me over a glass of whatever your drinking my friend
  5. Any chance when you do these that you could attach the.nzb files that get created when you post them to the messages here like folks do for torrents they share? thank you
  6. Thank you for the heads up. Usenet is still alive, safe, affordable and most services have a 1200+ day retention now.
  7. I can't thank you enough for this program. I have my 130 XE with SIO to Serial interface set up next to my Windows system and I always have a game or some demo, slide show going using ASPEQT. I just thought since I am using it daily and have been for a year or more I should take the time to say thank you for your hard work.
  8. Didnt your mother tell you it's not polite to make fun of old people and their mistakes?
  9. I have attached a few Fractal programs from my software archive, not sure if they are what your looking for but figured it can't hurt to get them to you. Fractal Programs.zip
  10. I have posted this on other topics here but you can use your Atari 8 Bit or any other vintage computer with a serial port to acess the telnet services on the internet using your PC as a bridge and this free software http://69.145.48.189:6502/InternetModem I use it to access telnet bbs's and telnet accessible MUDS like AArdwolf with my Atari 600, ST and my TRS-60 CoCo 3. Not that I cant do all this on my windows 7 system but it's just my inner nerd that feels all warm and nostalgic to do it this way. If you had access to a shell account connected to the internet dont see why you could not use this same set up for that.
  11. I use this to do the exact same thing you want to do on a Windows system http://69.145.48.189:6502/InternetModem Something about playing AArdwolf or other MUDS using my Atari or TRS-80 CoCo3 makes me feel all warm and nerdy
  12. Yes, they have the game itself and the programmers name but nothing else
  13. I am looking for a game manual or instructions sheet for a Rogue like game on the Atari 800 called Talisman all I know is the game was programmed by Ken Newman. I have the game file running on my 130 XE but cant not find anything else on the game itself. All the searches I tried just directed me to ROM sites so my next step is to ask for help here. Thank you
  14. So what does everyone think this collection's realistic value is? My best educated guess is he could get $5000 USD
  15. I have a working Coleco Adam system up for auction right now. it has been tested and does work. Please direct any question to me via the ebay links in the auction. Thank you eBay Auction -- Item Number: 261042734827
  16. Have ST with HD and have been using null modem cable with terminal program on PC and ST using zmodem protocol, Zip files on the PC and Unzip on ST with STZIP software. Cant get my PC to write ST disks with floimg so using MSAST program on the ST to write disk images after transferring the MSA files via nullmodem cable and terminal programs just like the Zip files. Works well. If I didnt have the HD on the ST end it might not work so well so thankful I have one
  17. Using TOS 2.06 on Mega ST2 with SH205 Hard Drive. Recently I unzipped a file to the hard drive that created multiple directories and many files, it set them all to Read Only, when I went to try and delete the files it wanted me to change the file attributes to Read/Write which is straight forward doing them 1 at a time but when I selected multiple files it still wanted me to change them one at a time. Is there a way or program to change file attributes when selecting multiple files? I tried Knife ST but didnt see a way in there to do it. Thank you
  18. Would suggest that you take Paypal, as far as Int'l sales the UK and Germany are safe to sell to, been selling from the USA to both countries for a few years via ebay and never a problem.
  19. Thank you Rick. The heart breaker thing I had to sell on e-bay is my SOL-20 Computer system, don't see me ever getting another one. In the end it's just stuff, caring for the wife and 3 kids needs is what matters. Thank you again for your kind words
  20. This makes me look so greedy but I was layed off on Friday and I need to take care of my family, that is the only reason I am selling this. Getting unemployment in my state takes 8 weeks for the first payment so I am selling off anything I can to make sure we have housing and food.
  21. Sadly I have to let this go to help with bills. This was Autographed by David Crane for me at the 2011 Portland Oregon Retro Gaming Expo eBay Auction -- Item Number: 260892305571 Thanks for looking
  22. Not much, he was on his way somewhere and had another man with him so I made it as quick as possible as I did not want to be pushy or rude. He was nice about it, did not seem put out at all. This ranks among my top 5 items in my vintage computer and gaming collection.
  23. I heard David Crane was going to be at the 2011 Portland retro Gaming Expo so dug out an old copy of Pitfall and got him to autograph it for me! . The label is all grungy because I played it so much when I was a kid in the 1980's. Normally I don't do a post like this but figured this time I would share my newest goodie.
