  1. I saw those too. I can't say I am understanding the price spike on ebay as of late. Tunnel Runner, Mountain King, & Omega Race all went for at least twice what they've been selling for. I had each of them in my sights and looked up each of the past sales. All were were way over any of the recent sales. Tunnel Runner was especially weird with someone bidding in $2 increments over and over. I never understand why people do that. Ebay is designed to eliminate the need for that.
  2. Whoever Nintendomatic is, he had / has one impressive collection. The stuff I've seen him sell is not only rare, but some of the nicest condition items that have come around in a while.
  3. I was just going to ask about that. I didn't think that looked right. Not only that, but they have an 'Eli's Ladder' for sale as well. I believe someone on here commented on that being fake as well.
  4. Very sorry to hear this. Our dogs are our kids in every shape and form so I know what you must be feeling.
  5. Nope, that wasn't me. Guess there's been one since I bought mine.
  6. I might have bought the last Sears Checkers on ebay that I saw. I can't find it in my purchase history right now so I can't recall what I paid but it was well shy of $50. I'm thinking maybe around $25. Roulette on the other hand was another major pain for me to find. I spend $30 to get my copy of that.
  7. The prices listed by Jason are as good as any I guess, however the problem is just finding some of the dang things. I've been on a hunt for Backgammon forever. I search and search but nobody seems to have one to sell. I'd jump on one in a second for $55! It's the last of the tough ones I still need.
  8. ...And that's the problem when you're trying to complete collections for multiple systems. Limited funds and a myriad of places to spend! I know I'm actively trying to complete for the 2600, 5200, 7800, Colecovision, Intellivision, O2, Vectrex, Atari 8bit, Vic-20, C64, Astrocade. Channel F, TurboGrafx, and Sega Master. These are just my primaries, there are other systems that I am passively collecting for but still buy the occasional item. If I would focus on one or even a few I could probably finish some things off, but I'm always seeing something that catches my eye for this system or that and end up spreading my collecting money around.
  9. September bump! Picked up a Night Driver so only need Canyon Bomber. C'mon folks lets see some Canyon Bomber!
  10. Thanks for the offer! I'll keep you in mind once I rebuild some funds. I've been a little loose in the wallet on ebay lately so I think I'm going to slow down a bit for now but I definitely have the remaining few carts for the Colecovision on my radar in the near future!
  11. Add me to the list of folks trying to complete a collection. For me, loose would be fine but CIB preferred. Unfortunately CIB seems to be pricier with the CV than for any of the other platforms I collect so I've already written off a CIB collection for the CV. At the moment I am about 12 games shy of the basic loose set mostly being the crappy 'edutainment' titles. CIB is way off. Only 31 boxed titles unfortunately.
  12. I refuse to use them any longer. They won't combine shipping. They charged me a fortune to ship something 15 miles and on top of that, the items were rubber banded together in a non padded envelope simply crushing the boxes beyond all belief. Especially avoid the Toledo Ohio Goodwill if you want anything delivered in any kind of shape!
  13. I did my part to get it to 3 figures. Since I have no chance of getting it I thought I'd give it a little push.
  14. Must be a recent phenomenon. From 2000 - 2010 time frame I know I picked up probably 6 of this style over the course of the decade for next to nothing. Guess I shoulda kept them all then.
  15. I figured it had something to do with the box version. As far as the cartridge goes, I can't say that I personally agree with this statement. I've had several of this version over the years and traded / sold them off over time. I think I'm down to 2 of them at the moment.
  16. Anyone have any idea why this went so high? I know it's not a "ridiculous" high amount, but it was something I was interested in and compared to any last sales I looked up went at least double what they normally sell for. http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2F111156211060%3FssPageName%3DSTRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT%26_trksid%3Dp3984.m1423.l2649
  17. Reported again. For me this might be the 6th time overall.
  18. This seller has not been the sharpest guy on ebay for a while now. At least in the past his prices have only been ridiculous. Now that he's discovered the wonderful world of grading he can take ridiculous and multiply it times 10. There's a special place in hell for his type.
  19. Bump! Still hunting down the Night Driver & Canyon Bomber.
  20. Yeah, I could use a boxed copy but don't care how low the price ends up being, I wouldn't buy from them.
  21. I was wondering if someone here got that. I had targeted the Worm Whomper for trading if I could get it for the right price. It went just a little higher than I was good with though. Glad it went to someone that still needed it.
  22. I'll back Roadrunner on this one. I have a history with this seller and know the tactics that they use (at least on me). There's a difference between buying and selling to simply support your hobby and what this person does.
  23. The same guys on both. I know I've seen the guy shown as 2***s with private feedback a LOT lately. Seems like he just came on the scene over the past year and has been wiling to spend ridiculous sums. He also likes to bid up things in small increments and not just place his maximum bid. Another example of his bidding here. As of right now however our old friend johnsgirl2 is in the lead for this very nice piece. http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2FBrand-New-Factory-Sealed-Cakewalk-Atari-2600-%2F121154781495%3Fpt%3DVideo_Games_Games%26hash%3Ditem1c35634137
