Here is another preview picture of my as of yet unfinished, custom Atari 800 inspired by the mock-up image from 1979 of an IBM "ATARI" PC. All will be added to my 800 upgrade and mods blog sooner or later...
The mouse is a TRS-80 Color Computer analog mouse that I have converted to 9-pin Atari controller ports to work with Atari GOS/GUI desktops and graphic art programs that support the Atari Touch-tablet. Since I converted it I figure it should match my custom Atari too. I have it sitting where it is to hold the Atari 800's door down. It's heavy, with a steel ball!
I have an Atari STM1 mouse I use with my 1200XL and GOS/GUI's and art programs that support it, but for my 800 I decided to convert the TRS-80 Coco mouse since it is analog using pots, so an easy conversion to be Atari Touch Tablet compatible since most or all GOS/GUI's for the Atari also support the Atari Touch Tablet and far more graphic art programs support it too, than an ST mouse.
