    For those of you bummed that the Everdrive doesn't fit correctly in the Analogue Duo, I stumbled across this cartridge extender today and thought it might be helpful for some of you: https://guineapiggames.com/products/analogue-duo-cartridge-slot-extender I also saw on Reddit there are people who got their Everdrive working normally buy adding a grounding wire. I haven't tried this myself but it looks promising:

    This is the same model I have. If I didn’t already have one I would totally jump on this. Besides Steam games the Deck is an emulation beast. Good luck with the sale!

    I had always wanted to get into the Speccy but being in the US it always seemed like a hassle with all the hardware. I got in on the first Spec Next Kickstarter and I love the machine. Looks like the second Kickstarter is finally shipping, maybe you can find one on the second hand market? Good luck!

    Thanks for the tip, it worked just fine for me to get back to the menu as well. The first time I tried it I was hitting the reset button on the Everdrive since I was sitting right in front of the console.

    Ah bummer. It's so close to working though so hopefully it'll get sorted soon. Thanks so much for I really appreciate you posting this! Everdrives and the Mister have become the main way I play games these days, but I have a soft spot for the Turbografx/PC Engine. I've parted with a lot of my collection these past few years but haven't been able to part ways with these yet. I don't have the problem with choice paralysis thankfully, but I get where you're coming from. No problem! I meant to mention that it doesn't work perfectly in my last post, sorry about that. It is a good sign that it does mostly work so hopefully a firmware update will get it working the rest of the way. Aaron

    Using this workaround I found on Reddit, I can verify my official TED v1.1 works fine on my Analogue Duo: But it’s been awhile since I used my actual games and I’m enjoying that more than I expected. I’m sure this will eventually be sorted out in a future firmware update.

    Got mine yesterday. The biggest gripe I have is getting the 8bitdo PCE controllers to sync with the Duo. You need to update with a special controller firmware, and then monkey around until it syncs. I’m not sure exactly what I did but I was finally able to get my controllers synced and working. It was a real PITA. Besides that it seems pretty cool. I look forward to throwing my game collection at it in the coming weeks.

    You need to download atarisy1.zip and add it to your MAME folder. I had this same problem and finally sat down last weekend and figured it out. For some reason Update All doesn't grab the BIOS for this core. There is a thread on the official Mister forum (misterfpga.org) if you need more info.

    @Tanooki It felt weird basically paying that much for a box at the thrift, but I feel I did pretty good. Now I just need to find the manuals.

    It's been so long since I found something gaming related at the thrift store so I figured I'd post. Found this NES Power Set box with only the power pad, zapper, styrofoam inserts, and power pad box. St. Vinnie's wanted $40 for it so I almost passed. But I've wanted a boxed NES for awhile now, so my loose one will now live in this box. I probably overpaid but I couldn't resist.
