  1. Hi there, I got my 5200 today, 4 Port, with AV Mod. I plugged the AC Adapter in my Stepdown converter (live in Germany, so we have 22ov), plugged the cable into the switchbox, plugged the cable from the 5200 into the switchbox. the first two hours the 5200 worked fine. I then watched some hours TV and a few minutes ago i powered it back again, it doesn't switch on anymore Checked all the cables, stepdown convertzer etc, all seems to be fine and like the last time i used it. I also tried some other games... 1. Anyone has an idea what this is, is it a known problem? 2. Does the 5200 switch on with no game inserted, or stays it off like the jaguar? Please help and thanks!
  2. Hi Guys, just a quick reminder: Bidding of this ends this Friday at 8 p.m. (CET/MEZ), please keep that in mind Actual bidding is 440€
  3. Hi Guys, just a quick reminder: Bidding of this ends this Friday at 8 p.m. (CET/MEZ), please keep that in mind
  4. we're now at 400€, just to inform everyone.
  5. Actual bid is now 380€. Hmm, i think i can't let this go without end. I think I'll let bidding go until next Friday 8 p.m MEZ, or if there no new biddings withing 24 hours from now on. 24h count from my last update post time on. Hope everyone is fine with this Have not been at home today. I'll make a shot of the end label (hopefully) tomorrow after work
  6. It's sad, that we'll probably never find out... But i think after this interesting find I'll look more often into the VCS forums, despite my regular Jaguar visits VCS seems to have more "unsolved stories" Update: current bid is 360 (euros, not xbox...)
  7. I'm quite sure your version is not the original version, because it's a Pet Boat cart (all other generic labelled Pet Boat carts are clearly pirates) and doesn't carry a company's logo on screen. However, it may be closer to the original version than the Datatech one. IMO, the Datatech version is a converted (to NTSC) version of the PAL original. The screen jumps while playing the Datatech version (does yours too?) and it looks like they replaced the original logo with the Datatech logo (it's not properly alligned with the © 1983 text). Also, as far as we know Datatech did not release one single original. Even their Seal to Whales is a pirate. Btw: although it sounds silly, the game's original title could very well be Mazy Match, because all other Pet Boat releases carried the original game titles. yes, mine does jump too. yes, i'm sure, that mine is not THE original, and i believe that this is a pirate. my thought is: anyone developed this game, but did'nt release it. Pet Boat got theri hand on the finished, unpublished game and threw it on the market themselves. I'm aware that Pet Boat didn't develop the game...
  8. Is there any evidence, that an original has ever been made? maybe that game has never been released and only the pirates have picked it up. so this would be the original release. but without any evidence, we can only assume...
  9. huh, this many replies. ok: The End label has a sticker like the box, with typewrited "Mazy Match" on it. I'll do a better picture of it after work. Instructions: I don't know if this game has ever had instructions. I bought a lot of over 30 games, and mazy match was the only one which came without manual, so i suppose it never had any manual. Current bid for this is 350€. PM me if you want to bid more. Shipping will be free complete insured with tracking anywhere in the world! Hope this game finds a new home at this community. Cheers Heiko
  10. It seems so. Thats what the guys told me at the 2600 forums. current bid is 275€
  11. Hi everyone, i found the game on a local flea market in Germany. Here at this thread is all infos including the confirmation, that the game was known as unknown game. Rom told me, that my cart is the first and only one surfaced until today. I'm not the VCS collector and more into Jaguar colection, so i'm gonna sell it. http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/151317-vcs-game-mazy-match-anyone-know-anything/ here is anything to know about this game including scans, shots, screenshots of actual gameplay. The game comes complete with box, without manual (it is supposed that there never was a manual, because it was the only game in a lot of over 30 games i bought without manual)The cart is in excellent condition and runs fine on my Atari 7800 and 2600. Here is what you get: I suppose the game is in PAL format, but the colors are wrong in comparision to the dump on atarimania. but the pros assume, that it was a quick and dirty port with just framerate changes. The box still has the original price sign on it, which calls "Karstadt 29,50DM" I would love to see if anyone picks this up, who has the ability to dump this and share it with the community! Actual bidding is 200€ for this game. feel free to make offers or ask questions. I'm 100% legit, several long year users can assure, that i'm no scammer. Shipping and payment will also be 100% insured, payment via Paypal.
  12. the problem is i don't know and don't have much experience in pricing VCS Games. But i think a game like this (until now the only copy known to exist) complete with box in very good condition, will not go for a few bucks maybe anyone with enough experience who can helps pricing? for how much went the last "one of a kind?"
  13. thanks for the warm words guys. why should i not share pictures and scans? it doesn't decrease the value of the game, it helps to keep atari alive and it enlarges the databases, so what. anyway, i don't intend to keep it, so offers are welcome, before i put it on ebay...
  14. It was in Wuppertal It has still the price tag on the Box "Karstadt 29,50DM"
  15. yes, thats right. i live in solingen. about 30km away from you
  16. If they vouch for you then I suppose it's ok. But with CPUWIZ having the other ROM of this game and this thread, it was natural to make a link. I don't even know who CPUWIZ is ^^ I assume, that you are German, so you can take a look over at Planet-Atari, that i'm legit I'll link nognir to this thread...
  17. With just 15 posts, we better make sure that this is all legit. And that CPUWIZ is not behind it. i can assure you, that this is 100% legit. just go over to www.planet-atari.de, i'm also there as "CD-i". I'm moderator and project leader with nearly 9000 posts. As i said, I'm normally Jaguar Collector and writer of Jaguar Reviews over at Planet-Atari.de "nognir" here at atari age knows me and some others over at planet-atari, who might be active here on atari age
  18. no, the colors on my atari are different. the maze itself is light blue and the game figure has also blue trousers on.
  19. hehe, thanks No, no manual. It seems that there has never been a manual. All games in the lot i bought have manuals, exept this, so i assume, that there never was a manual for it. It runs on my PAL 7800, but as far as i know, that doesn't mean much. maybe it runs also fine on an NTSC machine? No, no logo on the screen, just like in picture 2. Also if anyone is interested in buying this for a reasonable price feel free to make offers, because i'm more into Jaguar collecting...
  20. Not new, but extremely rare. http://www.atarimania.com/detail_soft.php?MENU=2&VERSION_ID=15501 hey, cool. thank you. so now the name of the "unknown game" is knewn ^^ anyone have a idea how much this game could be worth with box?
  21. hi, i managed to do some screenshots. sorry for bad image quality, but i only got a gizmondo with a cam inside ^^ here we go: At the beginning it plays "freude schöner Götterfunken" of Ludwig van Beethovens 9th symphony. Anyone who knows this game? You have to find a way up to the swords, so you can't use every blue way, so you have to find your way up to the swords, like a maze. Is it a pirate of a already known game? or something new? Please help
  22. hi there, now i managed to do scnas for the database of mazy match now i put my 7800 on tv and try to do some shots
