They just hired an architect for a major project at work. Anybody familiar with someone named "Lois Bidder"?

So, I got a Roland TD-17, which allows importing WAV files. I had saved the original samples from the Linn LM-1 years ago. So now I imported all of the samples into the TD-17, and viola! Instant LM-1!!!

The NFT craze continues to abolish all that I've ever known to be true and sane.

If Mozart and Cinderella had a love child, would it be called Mozzarella?

Cedar Point theme park here in Ohio has had to close a few days in the week due to not having enough employees. Even though they are paying $20 an hour. So come to Ohio if you want to make about $40k/year making overpriced munchies for families or tearing tickets at the roller coaster. Not making light of their work, I am sure it's hard, as most jobs are. Rent is cheap in Ohio. $700-$800 a month in most areas will get you a nice apartment with a pool, gym, etc..

OK I am quitting my job and going to work at the park for the summer. Do I get to use the park for free on my days off? Do I get a discount on the tasty but crappy park food? I just need to find a cheap rent for the summer.
I am joking obviously but I tell you if that park was close to me I almost might be tempted just for the fun of it.

I think the Recent Status Updates should be used to showcase stuff in the AtariAge store instead.

If a person feels compelled to
talkargue politics or boost about themselves, go to Twitter. I see people trying to push their crap but while trying to not cross the line. This is a nice place to talk about computers and video games. I hope it stays this way. I love hearing about what people are doing with their computers and game systems though. There are lots of very talented people here. It just amazes me sometimes what people can do. I wish I had half their talent.

You wanted to go the market to see what they had in stock, but you crashed on the way there? Don't worry, you'll be fine by March.

Just got out of the hospital (took about six hours). They didn’t need to put a stent in. They said it was right on the edge of needing a stent. They went in through my right wrist, so now I can’t use my mouse hand for a couple of days.

My mom passed away this morning. She was not only my mom, but a friend.

What is that part of the brain called that when you think something that you probably shouldn't say at that moment, it says "Stop!!! Don't say that!"?
And how come so many people are missing that part of their brain?

No, I will not hold you while you poop, sir. You shouldn't expect any employee to do that, especially now. That's a good way to catch the rona.

Had to put my cat down this morning. He was only 5 but had an autoimmune disease that was untreatable. Goodbye, little friend - see you on the other side. ?

Last night, my wife and I had to make the most difficult decision of our marriage, if not our entire lives. We put my pup, Daisy, to sleep.
I carried her in my arms from the place in which I adopted her ~10 and 1/2 years ago at 9 weeks old.
She was in my arms as she was put to sleep. We loved her so...she will always be missed.

Getting older and no longer having time for this hobby is a sad reality. I will offer some items for sale soon, when I can get time to test them and pack them. I will keep A8 and the really old stuff that I love.

We are home. (I'm back at work). No electricity, but the house is intact. Thank God. I truly hope everyone else that lives here is ok, please.

I'm out of the hospital and my mom's marrow transplant went well! I'm pretty tender but taking it easy. Mom still has another month in the hospital for observation, though. :/
