  1. Zojoi "reimagined" Shadowgate for the PC in 2014 and this was one of the Kickstarter rewards. Free to a good home! My user feedback thread:
  2. Back in 2013 I purchased this anthology for $80. Turns out I did not like this series as much as I thought I would so apart from playing Skyrim some this has just lived on a shelf for nine years. It's still in great condition, although there is one non-physical caveat. The anthology comes with all the discs for the first game up through Skyrim. However, as with all copies of this, the disc for Skyrim was tied to a redemption code that is now linked forever to my Steam ID and apparently there isn't a way to transfer this. The first four games and expansions, on the other hand, can all be installed using the provided discs. So you would get four usable games (plus any expansions) and a physical copy of Skyrim that you unfortunately cannot use. But this is a neat collector's item in any case. Does $40 sound fair? Maybe I could get more - unsure. But I just want to be sure this finds a good home with someone who will really like it. 3. There seems to be a lot of skepticism in this thread. That's a healthy outlook. For me, I'm hyped as hell. I understand that this might be setting me up for disappointment when the game actually comes out, but my outlook on life is "always have something to look forward to." Even if this ends up sucking, there are other things for me to look forward to.
  4. In no particular order... DOOM (PC) Rocket League (PC) Guardian Legend (NES) Shadowgate (NES) Streets of Rage 2 (Genesis) Xenoblade Chronicles X (Wii U) The Elders Scrolls V: Skyrim (PC) The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64) Halo 3 (Xbox 360) Legend of Mana (Playstation)
  5. It also required you to buy a separate console after a short period of time.
  6. Not only was the 2016 version an awesome game, but it had an awesome soundtrack, too. If the upcoming game's music is anything like 2016's, it's going to be intense as hell.
  7. BUMP - Really don't want to see this stuff get recycled.
  8. Hello, gamers. I was digging through some old stuff recently and unearthed the containment box for the expansion of the PC game Diablo II. I have the outer box, the inner containment box, the manual for the expansion, the manual for the original game and some other paperwork. I have no idea what happened to the discs. Not wanting to throw out some cool looking stuff, I thought maybe someone on here would be interested. All I ask is that you pay the shipping, which should be media mail rate since I can count the manuals as books. Here are some photo links: Cover Interior cover Back cover Manuals Other Stuff Here's my feedback thread.
  9. Derp. I've had the cart since it came out and I guess I assumed none were available new anymore. Thanks for bringing me into reality. So < $30 then.
  10. I'm considering (though still undecided) selling some 2600 stuff. One item is the home brew of Halo 2600 CIB. None of the pricing guides online seem to include this. I guess home brews don't make it onto these guides. Anyway, what would something like this go for these days? I want to price fairly - no gouging - and if I do end up selling it I'd want it to go to someone who I know will take care of it. Thanks!
  11. Hey all. I have a copy of Halo 2600 that I'm considering parting with but I'm wondering as to its actual value (used, like new). There is this crazy one on eBay right now for $120, listed as Like New but looks new in the photos. What do you all think? 12. Alright, everyone, I'm giving this a couple more days and then I'm listing it on eBay. You wouldn't want to see that happen, would you?
  13. Hey fellow AA'ers. Instead of listing this on eBay for the masses, I thought I'd try here first to make sure it finds a good home. Up for sale is a used Sega Dreamcast that comes with two controllers, one VMU, six games and a sealed Web Browser 2.0 disc. (I have no idea if the browser thing is good anymore, but it's an interesting, if worthless, item.) The games are: - Starlancer - Soul Calibur - Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver - Blue Stinger - Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six - Fighting Force 2 All games have their original cases and inserts except for Soul Calibur which is missing the rear art insert (and I'm thinking it originally had a plain case, not the orange one I have). All items have been tested and are in working order. You can see photos here. You can see my user feedback thread here. In the past I have sold a 3DO, a GameGear and a Master System to AA users and I prefer consoles going to gamers who care rather than some random eBay user. What say you to $70.00 + shipping? I figure with what you'd pay for each game individually plus the console it would come up to about that amount, but obviously this number is negotiable. Shipping will be calculated based on weight and distance and will go through USPS using your choice of services. I'm guessing the shipping will be around $15-$20 using regular shipping methods. The console will ship from northern Kentucky. Payments will be accepted via Paypal. I used to hate them, but I've caved and I use them now.
  14. A lot of women on my bus play mobile games. They're mostly things like card games and Bejeweled. I'm not so sure that this higher percentage of female gamers entering the ranks is going to change "hardcore" gaming much. These new gaming demographics are not interested in AAA games or deep, layered rpg/adventure games. They're interested in quick games they can play to kill time on the bus or on work breaks or whatever. The AAA game lovers will still play those while other gamers will play the latest mobile craze.
  15. This was happening when I was a kid. Nothing surprising about it. It just makes me want to be a better parent than most of Earth's parents are.
  16. I was at the local antique mall the other day and saw On Her Majesty's Secret Service on CED for sale. Came on two CEDs. It was a bizarre find.
  17. 10. DOOM (PC) 9. Roller Coaster Tycoon (PC) 8. Legend of Mana (Playstation) 7. The Legend of Zelda: OOT (N64) 6. Pokemon Blue (GB) 5. Goldeney 007 (N64) 4. Streets of Rage 2 (Genesis) 3. Halo 3 (360) 2. Deadly Premonition (360) 1. Guardian Legend (NES)
  18. Wow, I forgot that even existed. I'll have to pick up and give it a try.
  19. I'll throw in my two cents. I really like the Wii U gamepad. I sit on my couch near an outlet though, so I can't relate as well to the battery complaints. I think it's quite comfortable to hold and it actually helps for many games. For example, I have been playing Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag lately and the gamepad screen displays a world map that is very useful. I don't have to rely on the tiny little map in the corner of the TV screen or jump back and forth between the pause menu map and the game. Pikmin 3 also benefits from this map. I do have a pro controller, but I almost never use it. My wife uses it sometimes. I also love the off-screen play you can do with the gamepad. When my wife is watching a movie or something I can still play Wii U.
