  1. As there is a released ROM version of Battlezone 2000 which directly starts the easter egg, this might not be necessary. you find it somewhere in the forum here
  2. I did aleady 😛 Like on some othes...
  3. not bad, you need the hint for APB?
  4. maybe if you install the linux subsystem. but it might be easier to use just a native program as putty, teraterm or hyperterm
  5. i successfully used minicom, picocom, gtkterm, cutecom. finally i stayed with the last two.
  6. Remark: I used the code in BadApple https://demozoo.org/productions/198602/ for the video playback by doing a double buffering, thus decrunching one buffer while replaying the other one. I have not used it for depacking of binary code, as pucrunch is better integrated into lynxdir (loading adresses, etc). Even so this should not be a problem.
  7. I added the exo decoder code plus the the magic spells you need to get it work here: https://github.com/bspruck/exolynx
  8. hm ... at least under wine it is not running very good 😕 lot of graphic glitches
  9. I lost the original emails long long time ago. so i cannot tell you why it was never continued.
  10. -rw-rw-r-- 1 bjoern bjoern 15400 Jun 3 02:41 demo0006.o -rw-rw-r-- 1 bjoern bjoern 8311 Jun 3 02:42 demo0006.puc similar rate
  11. anyway, not sure if we have the same binary 😛 but thats what i found on my disc without too much searching
  12. 9700 vs 8300 is not "nearly" the same
  13. several half-playable level stages
  14. https://github.com/bspruck/pucrunch
  15. -rw-rw-r-- 1 bjoern bjoern 7738 Jun 3 01:18 demo0006_1.exo -rw-rw-r-- 1 bjoern bjoern 9111 Jun 3 01:18 demo0006_2.exo but that is including the .o header and prepared fro stream unpacking. i am not sure that i ever created a version which directly can parse binabries to the correct location ... I used it only for video-playback on the lynx until now.

  17. not bad, much smaller than my imploder, pucrunch and exomizer ports. but i guess tha packrate is worse.
  18. For some I do not even know who made them, even if, I do not have the email adresses. Some even came with source. But at least I think i can post some still images ... maybe someone recognizes his product and releases it
  19. actually, i have some old "unknown" single screens or early game protos flying around some people posted or send me many years ago. but without approval, i would not like to release the somewhere.
  20. Luckily, I know the guy responsible for Atari matters 🙂
  21. not quite true, all recent released demos are there. I would not add game protos or plein tech tests etc. This doesnt make sense. I know, that your IRQ test is listed there and elsewhere ... no idea why
  22. so, maybe a bit more seriously: a) you have "only" four channels in parallel, so no black midi b) you have to create/find good instruments which b1) sound good over the frequency /note range you use for that instrument b2) fit to the other you use so translating the notes fro midi to something a player on the lynx understand is the simplest part. and there are tools for that.
  23. find some nice instruments and map them to the notes/instruments from your midi files. Thats the short cut.
  24. The supported midi commands
  25. The same command implemented as in the live player (keyboard->PC->COMLYNX). Not on and off with velocity, programs, pitch.... Thus commands 8,9,A,(B),C,D,E B only 120
