  1. Hopefully the saving operation creates a persistent file that can be loaded later, and not just during the current game session.
  2. This game supports ECS music and flash save/load. Not sure how’s that enabled on the backbit, but just FYI.
  3. To create a new overlay do I need both a png and an ovl? How are .ovl files generated?
  4. At first I thought it was an Odyssey2 game. Interesting, I didn't know the arcade.
  5. Is it possible to do expressions like IF (FRAME AND 1) THEN… ? Would programs made for the SG1000 need to consider any particular differences or restrictions vs Colecovision? Your work is much appreciated Nanochess! I will probably start writing something once the 0.3 release comes out 🙂 Will functions be implemented eventually?

  7. Thanks I will check out the impact on volume, but appreciate the fast response regardless. On the scaling question, just curious if you have played with different methods like scale2x, hq2x, eagle, etc. Not even sure if they would drive a significantly different output…
  8. Finally gave it a try, and I’m very impressed. I will test all my games in this emulator going forward, besides using Jzintv and real hardware. Questions: - is there a way to experiment with different scalers? - is there a way to increase the volume even more? Somehow it sounds lower than other applications.
  9. @nanochess Hope you don't mind a few silly questions from one of your Intellivision disciples - How many variables can be used in this environment? What is the maximum DIM array size? - How is memory segmented, and which segments can be used? - Sprites: can we do vertical or horizontal zooms, flipping or mirroring? - Are there different graphic modes available? - Do you see the possibility of implementing scrolling support in future releases? - Could you elaborate on what are the 3 display areas mentioned in connection with the DEFINE command? From the manual: "Internally, CVBasic will replicate the date along the 3 display areas so the defined characters will appear on the whole screen when required." - In what circumstances should I consider accessing the VRAM directly? - When is your CVBasic book coming Thanks!
