I'm back after a long hiatus. I can't believe that I'm still in the top 10 for this season. Interesting game that I've never played before. 1st entry is 37 48

2600 NES Genesis Playstation 1 Playstation 2 Wii Gameboy Nintendo DS and a scratch-built arcade cabinet running MAME and emulators for about everything else. Everything is functional and hooked up ready to play. Games I have, time is what I lack.

I got my 2600 Christmas 1979 along with Combat, Air-Sea Battle and Video Olympics. All three of them are still among my favorites with Video Pinball and Asteroids coming in right after. That was still the best Christmas ever.

My best so far is 93 97 It was surprisingly difficult to get from 97 to 99. 99 One tip... The left side of the landing pad is more forgiving than the right. Your foot can be one pixel off of the pad on the left but must be completely on the pad on the right in order to score points.

Oh, how I long for the days of Lock 'N Chase... Honestly, I'm hoping for something dirt common this week. I feel like I never play any of my old favorites anymore because I tend to focus on whatever the HSC game is. Of course, the last few weeks I wouldn't have done a whole lot better even if it was something I was familiar with but I'm finally back to having free time as of now. Gah. I didn't even get a participation point this week. I tried the game once, scored 0 and never got back to it.

Frustrating game. Has anyone found any pattern to the police movements? It seems random until they 'see' you and then the go into full chase mode until you get out of the line of sight. 24,010

This game requires too much concentration to play it for very long in a single sitting. This is the best that I was able to do tonight. 12,390

Impressive. You must have gotten inside close to score 2 pointers. I've repeated the shutout in 1:31 twice and I've come to the conclusion that it can't be improved upon without getting 2 pointers. The 1:31 shutout is essentially: 1) straight across the ring 2)land one punch near the center 3)move slightly right and press and hold the button until the knockout. There is no quicker way to do it with 1 point punches.

Thanks guys. I can remember getting the shutout 2 or 3 times when I was 10 or 11 (I have to find those notebooks in my old room). I must have put 100s of hours into this game when I was a kid. It's still one of my favorites.

OK, my thumb hurts but I got the shutout! I don't think I can do any better than this. 1:31 - 0 points allowed

Good score. KO in :58 is fast. I think the score is based on the distance from the other boxer. Long jabs are 1 pt and close in is 2 pts. Here's my first attempt: 0:29 EDIT: Slight improvement 0:40
