I personally like manual transmission cars because they tend to last longer! My Yugo is a 4-speed manual and its 28 years old. It doesn't use transmission fluid. They use gear oil on manuals trannies!

I have a '99 Ranger if that says anything.. Haha. Think im going back to manual.

@SiLic0ne t0aD85: The Ranger is a great little pick up truck and many parts are shared with the Explorer especially the 4.0 L Cologne V6 Motor! Too bad Ford halted production on them in the U.S.! They were great!
