I backed the kickstarter and have yet to receive the table. I got an email recently that sounded like I would get one soon. It has been the typical kickstarter shit show of terrible planning and missed timelines.

I was making my last 7800 joysticks this weekend (I thought) and I found parts to make two more of them. So back out of retirement for two more sales. :-)
I made them available on my website. I went ahead and drilled the cases so these are available with the joystick on the left only.

I'll use the same custom Sanwa that I used on the 7800 sticks on the new ones. You can swap the restrictor plate if you want, but I don't like the switchable ones.
Out of curiosity do you have plans to make it a switchable 4 way and 8 way ?

The 7800 Prosystem Joysticks are now sold out and retired from production. Thanks to everybody that bought one.
I have a newly designed 2600 joystick coming out. Same great build quality. Details soon.

You have a rhs stick one left? I already have the lhs. I may need both...
Thos stick withstands lots of abuse and still feels, looks and plays perfect.
The label on it seems excat quality as an arcade and seems bullet proof.
I should say I have parts for two more. They aren't built yet. I wait till somebody orders right or left side stick before drilling it. So I can hook you up.

I would buy a copy that supported either the driving or paddle controller.
I know I put this game together long before I made Megaoids and Tempest Elite was still incomplete. I made these new games with an option to play with the Trackball, Driving, Controller, Keyboard, and Paddles. I am considering releasing an updated Delta Space Arena cartridge with an option to play with different controller, and that is if I get at least 10 responses from people here that would really like to play this game with different controllers.

The forstner bits are the best. You can get a nice set cheaply from Harbor Freight. I wish i had known about them before I drilled (and cracked) my 2600 jr. case.
I wouldn't use a forstner bit either. A fine toothed hole saw will provide the best cut. If you are using a free hand drill all bets are off though regardless of the bit. You can get the hole saw bits off amazon for a good price. For buttons the lip will usually cover up a messy cut so just go for it.

I wouldn't use a spade bit. It likely won't be a clean cut. Hole saws are the way to go. They cost more though. Not sure the paint would hold up on the plastic box either. The black plastic looks pretty good as is. I would leave it black.

Yes, I can switch the buttons if you like. The hole sizes are the same for a standard micro switch button.

Music City Multi Con, Oct 29-31, 2021, Nashville, TN

Music City Multi Con is Nashville's largest annual Gaming, Comic, Cosplay, and Pop Culture Convention. The three day event is taking place October 29-31, 2021 in the 79,000 sq ft Farm Bureau Expo Center in Lebanon, TN.
Music City Multi Con is the expansion of the Grand Ole Gameroom Expo that ran from 2016-2019. The Grand Ole Gameroom Expo became the largest gaming event in Tennessee, and with the new venue we have expanded the show to be a full multi-fandom convention with over half of the convention still dedicated to arcade, pinball, retro gaming, and modern game consoles. We have added over 20,000 sq ft of vendors, artists, multiple panel rooms, table top gaming, cosplay contests, and game tournaments.
