1. Anyone interested in a boxed copy of Crystal Castles for ATARI 800 XL/XE , with instructions? Works on NTSC and PAL systems. Thimo
2. Is the quality of this scan good enough ? I have scans in this resolution of 16 Telegames games. Thimo
3. Just found this old thread with Google. If you're looking for Telegames carts, I do still have these Armor Ambush Astroblast Bogey Blaster Deadly Discs International Soccer Kung fu Superkicks Lock 'n' Chase Quest for Quintana Roo Space Attack Super Challenge Football Super Challenge Baseball Universal Chaos World Championship Baseball (=SC Baseball) Most of the games are PAL, but I do have NTSC copies of Lock 'n' Chase and Quintana Roo. All the games are boxed+English instructions. If you're into homebrewing, these games do use EPROMS, most of them 4K = 2732, a few are 8K. Thimo
4. It seems to be common in Europe. Label similar to the old 1983 version, but slightly different material and a 1986 copyright. The cart is different.Weighs abot 10% less, has the more modern dustcover and probably a modified PCB. Is this a PAL-only cart? The box is almost identical to the 1983 box, but the Kids Controller overlays are missing. It's also not shrinkwrapped, only sealed with glue.
5. It's great that the carts do work now. I also heard of 7800 problems, although on my system, a 7800 PAL-B with the built-in Asteroids, all Telegames carts do work fine. Anyway, I do still have more than 400 copies of the Kung Fu Superkick game and a few 4K and other 8K games by Telegames.Plus a few 16K Salu games using EPROMs. Plus a box full of mis-labeled games, Kung Fu Superkicks in Bump n Jump carts and Kung Fu MASTER games in Superkicks or Astroblast carts. Thimo
6. I'm the seller of the carts and this does leave me puzzled, too. - all the carts were tested before sending on my 7800 - were new ones, fresh from the boxes , no defective carts - all games are PAL and worked fine on my system - my system did not fry them, because I tested some additional carts that day and they do still work - the 7800 would have fried the 7800 carts, too, in that case - sold more than 30 of these carts in Europe and nobody complained There are only 2 possibilities for the problems : - the games are PAL only, some part of the board makes them incompatible - something damaged them during transport. Radiation, electricity, magnets. For such cases there's the insurance. I need one or two sample carts, unopened of course and if they do still work on my system, these carts are NTSC-incompatible. If they're dead, something damaged them. Then the postal service has to pay back the insurance money. This can happen. I had a few lost or damaged packages during the years and the insurance is there for such cases. I sold 100 copies of this game to ATARIAGE 3 years ago. But it was the NTSC version. Same with Bump n Jump and Quest for Quintana Roo. Anyone ever tried to modify the NTSC Telegames games? Btw. the quality of Telegames carts is good. Usually they do work, the biggest problem of Telegames are mislabelled carts, that means different game on the cart (same problem with wrong manuals in boxes). Thimo
7. Hello, I still have many copies of these ATARI games : Big Bird's Egg Catch Cookie Monster Munch RealSports Volleyball Super Breakout Old cartridges with dustcovers. There's also a version of Big Bird's Egg Catch from 1986 with a slightly different cartridge. I suppose the old 1983 version is the better one for homebrewing. Prices : -100 carts 1.-/cart -200 carts 0,90/cart -300 carts 0,80/cart -400 carts 0,70/cart -500 carts 0,60/cart more than 500 carts : 0,50/cart I have about 1000 copies of these games, most of them the CCW games. Big Bird's Egg Catch, Cookie MM and Super Breakout are PAL, but this shouldn't matter for homebrewing. RealSports Volleyball is NTSC. Shipping : I can ship between 120 and 150 boxed carts for 62 Euros OR 250-300 carts without boxes/instr. for 62 Euros. Up to 5Kg , ca 60 carts, shipping is 32 Euros ; up to 10Kg, ca 120 carts , shipping is 42 Euros (*). (*) including the weight of the box. In Europe, shipping is 17 Euros for up to 5Kg, 22 Euros for up to 10Kg and 32 Euros for up to 20Kg ; in Germany the shipping is 6 Euros for up to 5Kg, 8 Euros for up to 10Kg, 10 Euros for up to 20Kg and 12 Euros for up to 31,5Kg. I'm in Germany, if you want to pick up the games, this is possible. The boxes do protect the carts against any harm and even if you'd use the carts for making homebrews, you could still sell the boxes, instructions and in case of the CCW games, the Kids Controller overlays. I will give away any boxes for free, if you can pick them up, please contact me. Payment is possible with paypal. I do also have some red label carts, but I suppose they're not very useful for homebrewers. Thimo
8. Anyone interested in new and boxed Colecovision games for homebrewing? If yes, drop me an email. Thimo
9. http://cgi.ebay.com/ATARI-800-XL-XE-RARE-C...1QQcmdZViewItem This is my auction. I have two copies of that game and have to sell this one. It's boxed and in good shape. Thimo
10. This is the ATARI 800 XL version of Another World : Doable on the 5200 and the 7800, too. On the 2600, it would be doable. Maybe similar to Smurf, which is screen to screen, too. Anybody who wants the disk-image, please contact me.
11. If they where all 7800 games I would have bought them. Even more so if they where all JINKS. Jinks is the homebrewers dream come true untill a 7800 PCB is ready to be sold. 995525 Pardon my ignorance -- why is Jinks so homebrewer friendly? 997555 Cause it supports 8k right right up to 128k (144 is possible also). And comes with onboard RAM and inverters to support 2 EPROMS. There is a zillion jumper settings (one for nearly each size) but I don't think you could expect otherwise. So ya JINKS=GOOD. It is handsdwon the best game to tear down to make your own 7800 carts and I don't think there is anyone that would argue that point. So untill the 7800 blanks are for sale, tear down JINKS and leave those hat tricks alone for God's sake!! 998035 The ebay seller gamesandstuff offers a couple of 7800 games, including Jinks. They have a lot of 72 games for about $190 on ebay, but you could try to talk to them about copies of Jinks. http://cgi.ebay.com/72-New-Atari-2600-7800...1QQcmdZViewItem If Jinks carts are really that valuable for homebrewers, the community should try to buy all the Jinks copies from them and may get a better price. Btw. they also have Ballblazers, maybe the ATARI 800 people who need a second POKEY could use that game. Thimo
12. There IS an ATARI 800 XL version of Another World. I have the disk image somewhere. There are no cutscenes and it uses sprites, but it does exist. I'm not sure if it's finished, I don't get far in the game. An ATARI 7800 version is possible, based on sprites. With big enough carts, smooth animations are possible, stored on the carts.
13. I just want to ask if anybody would be interested in these domains: www.atari2600.de www.coleco.de www.vectrex.de www.vcs2600.de www.klassische-computer.de www.pc-klassiker.de www.klassische-konsolen.de I did already close my website and have to give up these domains, but I may have to wait a few weeks until this is possible (contract with the provider); that would mean March 2006. Anyone interested, even if not right now? Thimo
14. I'm giving up business and have to sell all the ATARI 2600/XL and ATARISOFT games I have. Most of the ATARI 2600 games are PAL, but all the 800 XL/XE games are NTSC. Payment is possible with PAYPAL. Shipping depends on weight, not on size. Games weigh about 120g each, 1Kg = 1000g, but please ask, some games weigh more, some less than average. Hardware (Paddles, Keyboard controllers) weigh about 300g /box. 15. http://cgi.ebay.com/HUGE-lot-of-96-Atari-2...1QQcmdZViewItem Not mine. There are Spy Hunter and Snoopy and the Red Baron in this lot. Not sure if they're very valuable, but Snoopy is a fun game. If anyone buys this, I'd be interested in the common games in a lot like this (Pitfall, River Raid, Centipede...)
16. http://cgi.ebay.nl/Atari-XE-Gun-Bug-Hunt-F...1QQcmdZViewItem I'm not sure if 20 Euro is a good price, but on ebay.de they're usually go up to 40 or 50 Euros.
17. http://cgi.ebay.com/ATARI-LOT-OVER-500-GAM...1QQcmdZViewItem Not mine. Looks like the games O'Shea offered some time ago. Something for the 7800 homebrewers? It's still less than $100 for 500 games and will end in a few hours.
18. I sold a some of the CCW cartridges without the boxes/instructions and overlays. I can give away 100 boxes/instructions/Kids Controller overlays of Big Bird's Egg Catch and 100 of Cookie Monster Munch. You just have to pay for shipping, the box and duct tape. Shipping is 32 Euros in Europe, 62 Euros overseas, I need 5 Euros for the boxes and duct-tape; I want to ship all 200 boxes together. You can also pick them up if you're in Germany. You should be able to collect NTSC copies of the games and sell them, or you could sell the Kids Controller overlays, which are not too common. I still offer boxed/new copies of the games/cartridges for homebrewers, so if you need new ATARI cartridges, please ask. Thimo
19. A very good game, much better than the somewhat similar game I submitted for the 2004 minigame compo. I did not have a good idea for a random level generator in "Rocket Boy", so the game was a little bit boring after a while. Thimo
20. If anyone is interested in my ATARI lots, the auctions will end in 1 hours. I've reduced a few prices and shipping yesterday; items will not be relisted until the next 10 cent day. Thimo
21. I want whatever $100 USD shipped can get me worth of the 8k eprom games. I don't need the boxes. 992202 Unfortunately, shipping is very expensive for a few games, because it's overseas. If you can order carts together with 2 or 3 other ATARI users, you'd only pay a fraction of the shipping; I can ship about 250-300 carts for 62 Euros, ca. $73. Thimo
22. Will the FB 2.0 work with a European PAL TV, they usually switch to PAL 60 which is quite compatible with NTSC? What kind of power supply does it use, if it's 110V , can I use a standard, universal power supply to power it? Thimo
23. I still have a lot of these ATARI games : Big Bird's Egg Catch Cookie Monster Munch RealSports Volleyball I can offer them for $1 each, they are new and sealed, with instructions/kids controller overlays and boxes. Perfect cartridge shells for homebrew games. Because overseas shipping is at least 32 Euros (-5000g weight), 42 Euros (-10000g) , 62 Euros (-20000g) , I can only sell larger qts., that means at least 30 of these games. It's possible to ship between 120 and 150 in one package with boxes/instructions or about 250-300 carts only for 62 Euros (ca. $75). Payment is possible with paypal. Discounts are possible for large qts. I will away all empty boxes/instructions away for free, if left, buyers just have to pay for shipping in that case. Thimo
24. I have listed several game lots of new, boxed games on ebay a few days ago : http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZbobbyisgo...1QQfsooZ1QQrdZ0? Please note that ebay doesn't allow "items by choice" auctions, so I have to sell the "fixed" games lots, but outside of ebay, you could choose which games you want. It's also possible to combine shipping, depends on the final weight. The 800 XL/XE games are NTSC, most 2600 games are PAL, but some were not officially released as NTSC games. I must get rid of these games as soon as possible, because I have to move and don't have room for the stuff anymore and have to give up business. Since all the games are new, the cartridge cases could be used for homebrew projects; some of the third parts games use EPROMs btw. , usually 4K or 8K, BitCorp, Telegames and the Taiwan Chess/Circus games. I could send about 250-300 carts only (without boxes) in 1 package for 62 Euros/ca. $75. Thimo
25. I have to repost this, because there were some misunderstandings (about shipping prices) in the first 2 offers. I still have large qts. of entirely new and boxed ATARI 2600, 7800 and XE games, usually sealed or shrinkwrapped which can be used for homebrew games. I can sell these ATARI 2600/7800 games for 1 Euro each (1 Euro = ca. $1.18), but I will give discounts the more games you buy. Shipping is expensive, when overseas, but I can give discounts and it's possible to send about 120-150 boxed games in 1 package or 250-300 games carts only (depends on the games). I will give away any boxes/instructions left for free, if anyone wants them; you just have to pay for shipping. I accept payment with paypal, but you also visit me and pick up the games. If you do pay with paypal, you can easily pay in Euros. The reason I want payment in Euros is, that the Dollar to Euro conversion of paypal is really bad, I lose a lot of money to them when converting Dollars to Euro. There are at least 200 copies of each these ATARI 2600 games and about 100 of the others. All new, perfect for new games. I have other games, but only small qts., please check the other list I posted a few days ago. The games by ATARI are : Big Bird's Egg Catch ( www.vectrex.de/c/bigbird.jpg ) PAL Cookie Monster Munch ( www.vectrex.de/c/cookie.jpg ) PAL Super Breakout ( www.vectrex.de/c/superb.jpg ) PAL RealSports Volleyball ( www.vectrex.de/c/rsvolley.jpg ) NTSC These are original old ATARI cartridges WITH dustcovers : ------------------------------------------------------------------- Telegames EPROM-based cartridges Kung Fu Superkicks ( www.vectrex.de/c/superkic.jpg ) Kung Fu Superkicks by Telegames is on an 8K board. You can see it to the left in the picture above. (To the right is a 4K board by Telegames, but I don't have many of them). ------------------------------------------------------------------- ATARI 7800 : Mat Mania Challenge ( www.vectrex.de/c/mat.jpg ) If anyone ever programs a 7800 game. -------------------------------------------------------------------- ATARI 800 XL/XE : I sell these for 2 Euros each. They can be modified, so that 128K or even bigger games are possible. One on One Basketball : www.vectrex.de/c/oneonone.jpg Ballblazer : www.vectrex.de/c/ballblaz.jpg ------------------------------------------------------------------- Payment is possible with paypal or you can also visit me and pick up the games. Shipping : I don't charge more than the actual shipping prices of German Post. Overseas shipping can be expensive, but I cannot change these prices, I can only give discounts for large qts. of games. You can check the prices at : www.deutschepost.de (switch language to English) 5Kg : 6 Euros Germany 17 Euros Europe (EU) 30 Euros Europe (rest) 32 Euros USA, North America 37 Euros rest of the world -10Kg : 8 Euros Germany 22 Euros Europe (EU) 35 Euros Europe (rest) 42 Euros USA, North America 52 Euros rest of the world -20Kg : 10 Euros Germany 32 Euros Europe (EU) 45 Euros Europe (rest) 62 Euros USA, North America 82 Euros rest of the world -31.5Kg : 12 Euros Germany only Thimo
