Hello Ivop - if you still have this and it's not too much trouble, I'd like to get a copy of it if you don't mind.  It seems like it may have been attached to the post at one time, but I don't see it anymore.

Since the upgrade of the forum software, all attachments to my blog posts are gone. Have opened an issue on the tracker, so hopefully this will be resolved shortly. If not, I'll look at my backups to find it. Seems my eagle files are not on in my current life homedir anymore :)

  2. Superb work here. It's great to hear these tunes coming from an Atari (well, an emulator in my case).

I did run the first instance of atarisid on a real atari, but never the second and third (this) version. Today is the first day I heard them coming from a real Atari myself :) I actually think they sound better than through emulation.

  3. Note to those who want to use my sid-engine to play other tunes: some player routines toggle the gate bit in one frame, which means the conversion routines do NOT see it go to zero and back to one again. This means you have to patch the player at this point too (not just writing to shadow sid registers and possibly relocate the zero page addresses). Every write to sid control registers need to be redirected to a small subroutine that compares the previous value to the new value before writing to the shadow register. If the gate bit gets toggled, you need to reset the ADSR envelope phase of that voice to zero. Examples of such player routines are most songs by David Whitaker, Adam Gilmore and probably a whole lot more :)
