Just seen the trailer and the Wikipedia page. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING? Vimes is nothing how I imagined him. More like a thug than a beaten-down cop. Vetinari's a woman? Was Charles Dance too busy? Carrot is too scrawny. 

Just noticed: The Watch Trailer: 1.5K likes, 5.6K dislikes. The masses have spoken.

Yeah...  Carrot too small.  Cheery too big (and no beard).  Angua not right either...  poor casting for quite a bit of it.  Vimes could have been okay, but the costuming and makeup don't sit right with me.  Also, apparently, there's no Fred Colon and Nobby Nobs at all.  It is very loosely based on the books I guess.  The Going Postal series was much better cast... much closer to the books... but I'm guessing Pratchett had more say in that one.

Not that I'm aware of.  It just started this today.  No problem being logged into Google or accessing Gmail, but YouTube keeps logging me out. 

And one of the biggest reasons I actually log into YouTube is so that it will know that I've watched a video and quit suggesting the same ones I've already seen.  Of course, lately, that doesn't seem to be working right, either...

Hmmm... looked it up online.  For some reason, logging out, then creating a new password, then logging back in seems to have fixed it.  Stupid.

Guess I never payed attention to youtube suggestions.. they're just video links on the right you ignore or something. 

But if the bike isn't included you can't even play it lol

It's funny because over the years it shows up from the same seller. It appears gets 'sold' and gets re-listed. Not sure it ever really sells. Offers have been made over time as I understand it.

Perhaps someone wishes to get rich but I'd suggest everyone make offers of  .01 to 20.99 just to give a reality check. It probably won't make a difference though, as the listing is still lingering after all this time. It still could help to change some thinking :)

if you think that's good, you should try S-Video cables if you have a CRT that supports them. 

Actually, I do. Lucked out on a Samsung that has Composite, s-video, and Component inputs. Thought I was getting the s-video but didn’t notice until after they shipped that they were the regular composite. Still, huge improvement. 

Used to do EVERYTHING through composite...now that I've seen HD I need S-video or Component ☹️

If it was a desktop then just stick the old hard drive in the new one... if it was a laptop one of those hard drive transfer kits might be of some help.

Just think it's funny... common retro-gamer advice is to never blow into cartridges, and I just fixed something for the newest system I own by blowing in it.  lol

That's almost like coffee without Coffee Mate!  I mean sure, you can do without in a pinch,  but hopefully there's a store nearby...Even If I had to go further (since I hate the nearby stores), I'd probably make a quick trip out to get some before continuing...Then again...Tacos!  They say a bad day fishing is still better than a good day working...

I was just annoyed by a thread in which the same person used "would of" or "could of" in about three replies in a row.  lol.   I've always admired CPUWIZ's signature because it's one of my grammar pet peeve's as well.

If you look at the footer at the bottom of every page on AtariAge, there are links to the AtariAge Facebook group, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube accounts.
