Yeah, reading up a bit... there's going to be an "Intellivision Entertainment Keynote Address" at PRGE this year... and I'm going to be there... maybe I'll get to attend. Wonder if there's going to be a limit as to how many people can be in the room for it. Anyway, I'll have to weigh that against other thigns I want to do there because it's going to be over an hour long. But I can get a free Intellivision lanyard!

I was just annoyed by a thread in which the same person used "would of" or "could of" in about three replies in a row.  lol.   I've always admired CPUWIZ's signature because it's one of my grammar pet peeve's as well.

I'm not a fan of SHMUP the term, but I like SHMUP the genre. Same with Metroidvania. Hair band, cloud, and AI haven't bothered me. Just seems there's a lot of indie type games that are all jumping on the procedurally generated bandwagon. I'd rather have carefully crafted levels and such.

Essentially, he builds drills that dig wells, goes all over the world and trains people how to dig wells and gives them the drill so they can drill wells for others. He's been to Haiti several times, North Africa, places in the Pacific... They're planning to build a tank that will feed water to a filtration system and then to a holding tank with a spigot or something. Wante...

My latest laptop came with Windows 10. It was a TOTAL nightmare... after about 6 months I made a 2nd partition and installed Windows 7. I haven't booted to Windows 10 since.

Dunno what I was doing wrong, but there was so much lag/stalling and I got completely sick of watching that spinny circle thing. I've heard that if you computer isn't all that powerful Windows 10 runs pretty bad on it. Maybe I'm just not that open to change. I never cared for the big square grid thing with apps.

I've had no problems with Windows 10, at least none that I can attribute directly to Windows 10, until this update and it seems like it may have been more a problem with Avast virus software than Windows. /shrug My laptop isn't super powerful, but it's pretty decent. I can't ever remember the specs...

I think the story was that he found it in a thrift shop and it didn't have the wireless controllers with it. But I guess it has places to plug in wired controllers? Dunno.

I remember reading about this thing in the video game magazines back in the day. I loved laser disk games so I thought it was WAY cool sounding!

I might be tempted to spring for a Laseractive, but no way for a a system that expensive with 2 games.
