NOOOOOOO. You should not purposely flex PCB, you can break connections, traces, and loosen failing or unseen things, possibly upset a weak swipe even (as seen on 1200XLs) best to take readings while working, write them down. If it fails again, you can compare readings and find what changed.

Intermittent connection in the area, PCB flexed during insertion, stayed connected when pulled.

Check if your machine has proper Freddie decoupling cap there were routing errors for connecting on some PCB's adding some of the components back for the crystal clock even with an oscillator present can help also. -
it will all end up on theftbay, where the fence and pawn are one and the same.

Close, you need to read more slowly the hint hint hints. No hint on a correct line but hint on something that needs a look or possible change.

Warnings about Malware when downloading some File Attachments
_The Doctor__ replied to Albert's topic in Announcements
this ain't new, remember when they blocked .exe and the like? well now they are .xex don't feel like we all want to make bin into ibn nib or inb. They're idiots, so maybe we work around it and let them know how silly it is and why it never worked when they tried this ineffective annoyance years earlier with other extensions. Most hacks name crap as a harmless file type anyway... like .tmp test.dat and so on. These guys are elementary lame. -
Someone made a carrier box that nicely attached to the vent holes and allowed the lights and switches to be in that, looked fine. Maybe it needs recreation? So print whole bezel or print snap on bezel box

Many of these carts do not take signal timing length into consideration for data transfer. The 800 cart port is slightly different spec due to ras cas rather than phi on cart port ultimate cart gets it correct others can do the same if coded like ult and another that get it right. else you have to modify cart slot signal with wire or upgrade needs to do this for you which some do. Some might have fixed this with a jed update or or cart boot file on SD etc

– POWER LED: anode (longer leg) through resistor approx. 1 kΩ to supply +5V, cathode (shorter leg) to ground (GND) – ACTIVITY LED: anode (longer leg)through 470 Ω resistor to +5V, while the cathode to RX output on Arduino board (HINT HINT HINT) also you can put another resistor value (higher) or have another in series to dim them and keep from drawing to much power from the arduino or power source. (hint)

also, most SD card readers don't need the menu selection system and can't set images without it, The ones without displays of any kind might require the menu but it's up to them to find a solution. Once he image is selected, the machine won't be using any of that menu memory anyway.

The 400 mini is an underpowered emulation box in a nifty case, it is not an 8 bit per se' ... I'd check out the 400 mini section tagged incorrectly at the top of the page, click on that and ask 400 mini emulation questions there.

Has anyone written a biography of Jack Tramiel?
_The Doctor__ replied to Larry's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
You can thank Helen for that. Though he certainly did not invent the processor nor was he the father of... wow talk about something needing an edit. They certainly couldn't have meant how this translated. -
Bad guess, this all shows it can be done, just that other pieces to the puzzle aren't filled in. If you would like to fund it, then it can be... otherwise, people have got to eat, have a place to live, and perhaps some transportation.

There are modes of write protection on all of these systems including disks Make sure any installed application on the serving computer are allowed to write Next make sure the emulated disk is not write protected by notch. Next that the emulated disks files are not in set protected by the DOS. Next that the serving app does not have the image slot set to protect the image or virtually protect the image. and so on.

Depending on device and SIO filter? 10 divisor indexes better Some some NTSC units did not handle simple us doubler warp well, until the first set of caps were clipped, and for DIVISOR 0 both sets. So it helps from 52k on up to 127 (125) -
Atari XF551 floppy driver / power switch

definitely make sure the instructions to fix the messed version board go far and wide but none of it's creation files continue to propagate and ask others make them go bye bye. Anything is fixable of course . The new revision is here already though. The last version 6 looks to be moving along nicely so it's all good. Happy times.
