  3. MSX2+ computer is sold. Yay! Model is Sony HB-F1XV You're right it's a Playstation scart cable but modified with a 8pin Din connector for the MSX. I don't have my camera at the moment but on the back panel it has 8pin DIN for RGB, 2x phono jacks for composite & mono audio, RF jack, printer port, 8pin DIN for data recorder/cassette deck, and the 2nd cartridge slot. The hardware at the back with 3 cartridges is a mini-slot expander.
  4. Anyone looking for a solid MSX2+ computer? It's modified with a PC floppy drive, so you won't need to worry about replacing the drive belt. It's unboxed without any paper documents, but it's 100% working and in great condition. This a picture of the actual unit. Only the MSX2+ computer is for sale, nothing else. I'm looking for serious offers on this. If I can't find the price I want it will go straight to egay. -

  7. Up for sale is a MSX2+ Panasonic FS-A1FX computer, all fixed and working great. - $130 shipped. Price includes USPS Priority with tracking + insurance within US. Anyone is welcome to shoot offers too, price ain't set in stone here. Also check out my CTCW auctions, I have a few MSX2 games for sale still - http://www.chasethechuckwagon.com/display....p;seller=rolins I bought this MSX several weeks ago and the original disk drive and its mounting plate were missing. I didn't mind the missing drive, that's easy to replace but the mounting plate is a whole different story. Without a mounting plate there was no way of keeping a new floppy drive still, so I opted to mounted a 34pin IDC to back of the computer for connecting a PC floppy drive. I also restored +12V power to the system, by replacing the shot 78L12 voltage regulator. You can read more about that at the the MRC forum - http://www.msx.org/forumtopic9300.html Included in this deal is the MSX2+ computer and a spare 34pin floppy cable. PC floppy drive and ATX power supply is not included. You'll have to supply that yourself. PLEASE READ - Very important notes about this computer -Mostly older PC floppy drives will be compatible like a Teac 235HF and Mitsumi D359M3 models. Looking for PC drives manufactured during 1998 and prior is a sure bet. -Floppy drives requires external power. ATX power supply will do nicely. -I installed a toggle switch next to the 34pin IDC. The switch changes pin6 (on the msx) to either pin34 or GND (on the pc drive). Whenever you boot your computer without a disk or cartridge, the computer will hang trying to read the floppy drive. When that happens just flip the toggle switch, or keeping a blank disk inside the drive all the time will do the trick too. -A small piece of the plastic casing is chipped (see the photo below). -This model doesn't have MSX-Music built-in, so purchasing a FM-Pac cartridge is recommended if you want that feature.
