    Sweet!!!!

    Not bad...EBay items?
  2. I guess it boils down to TV manufacturer and if the tube can self correct for the PAL format. We are gonna order a Klax in PAL. I can use it on the 13", but I'm trying to help out my brother as his TV doesn't have the adjustment. I just figured there would be some kind of adaptor that could be used in between the system and the tube. The atari version of BMX airmaster works and looks perfect on my 13" TV. I cannot tell a difference between that and the TNT version.
  3. I just asked a question of the guy who is selling that converter if it would work with the Atari signal. I'll post when I get a reply. I can play the PAL ones just fine on my little 13" color screen, but who wants to do that when you could possibly play it on a larger screen??? Plus, it would also help with the Klax dilemma.
  4. It is nice to look at it and I appreciate where you're comming from looking at the collection from time to time. ...and if he even thinks of selling off any of those, I'll fly down there and put a whoopin' on him! It took us a long time to get what we have there. The extras, OK. The origionals = whoopin'!
  5. Has anyone ever come up wth a way to modify or add a vertical hold control into a 2600 so PAL games could be played on an NTSC system/TV with no existing vertical hold adjustment knob? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  6. I had the same experience at Radio Smack. Waste of time people they are. I went to a Wal-Mart and for the hell of it asked a kid there for one, and he even went as far to say that I when I was asking for an RF switchbox, I must be mistaken as what I was asking for was not an RF switchbox. He handed me a coax/75ohm switch and said that was an RF switchbox. I quickly switched into "stupid mode" and said thank you, headding directly to the store manager. The store manager knew what I was talking about and not only did he call me old-school, he proceeded to ask why I wanted to play Atari when there are much better systems out. I informed him of my PS2, and how I have had it for a year and a half, played it twice, and find it not as much fun as the 2600. He shook his head and walked away. ...old school my ass!

  8. I found a site on the net that sells parts. He seems to be rather reasonable... http://members.tripod.com/cvgcnj/index.htm I put an order in for the power port. He has some stuff, but not everything to restore a system.
  9. What??? Where did you get the power port?
  10. Does anyone know where I can pick up a power port/hookup for a 2600 Jr.? The one we have works with a bit of jiggling, so I just want to solder a new connector in. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  11. Best one I ever got was a 6 switch on EBay for a buy it now price of $6 with a shipping charge of $6. It didn't have any controllers or a power supply, and it was untested, but it was real clean and it came with a switchbox and an adaptor.
  12. I'm not sure about the face labels, but I resize the end labels for the Atari cartridges to 3.2" x .78". That is almost an exact fit to the origional label.
  13. I have both versions of that game, the TNT version, and the PAL Atari version and both work on my heavy sixer. Which version of BMX are you looking to buy? The TNT white label version will go for roughly $15, and the red PAL TNT version will go for about double that. The Atari version? If that ever comes up, that will go for at least $300, if not more like $350, possibly more.
  14. My experience is that the lantern really doesn't do anything useful to win the game. That's about the only thing I do not buy in the village.
  15. The sad thing is that I never knew about it until I just recently hhoked up with David Neuman. I'm looking forward to that one. I'm thinking of bringing my Asteroids Cocktail table there to sell for 2600 stuff. Sad, isn't it? I restored it and now lost interest in it since I got back into the 2600 full force.
  16. We have the same problem as you with a load of extras, with some being more scarce/rare than others. I don't know if this is advice or not, but it's what we're doing to sell off the dupes. What we wound up doing (actually are in the finishing process of) is putting all of the games in alphbetical order and then sorting out piles in reguard to duplicates. We wound up with three piles that contained no duplicates, which seems to help get a little more money for game collections on EBay. We wound up picking up cheap systems ($10 or less for the whole thing) on EBay and put one with each pile, kind of making three "Atari Starter Kits." Thanks to Chris "Bag Man" Federiko's contribution , and the find of another 4 switch system in the attic, we now have four to put out (sorry for the digression). A while back, I had picked up one of those CDs with 500+ manuals on them. While all game manuals are not there, almost 100% of our dupes were. I printed out instructions, and put them in a binder to go with the games. If this works or not, has yet to be seen. If you are not in a hurry, we'll let you know in about two weeks how it works. It is a bunch of work, but on nightshift sometimes, I have alot of time and that helped with this project. It's also more or less a labor of love for the system, but it's a different approach to getting rid of those dupes (which there are just shy of 300 of them). Hope it helps.
  17. I'm not 100% familiar with that area. Where is that? I would be comming in from King Of Prussia. Still new to this area.
  18. Are there any Goodwill stores, or anything like that in the Philadelphia area?
  19. Our top three would have to be Atlantis II, Atari's BMX Airmaster, and Quadrun.
  20. Hunt & Score is the same one I'm having the problem with. I only have a couple of commons, sand since I don't have an intention to sell them, I may try the scan and print method. You need something to do on nightshift. Thanks for the idea.
  21. Has anyone come up with a decent way of printing up and replacing missing end labels? I have a few that are missing, and albeit they won't be origional, at least there will be some kind of indetifier on the end as ours are stacked on end. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  22. This went for A LOT more than I expected it to go for... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...1380143612&rd=1
