    Playing my VCS on live radio tomorrow night! What games/sounds shall I unleash this time around on the FM airwaves?! :rolling: Also getting HSW back on..

      That's awesome! Two of my favorite things together: Atari & radio! Since you are soliciting requests, here are my recommendations:

      1. Space Invaders (lots of recognizable sounds from that game).

      2. Secret Quest (if you have it; it's got a lot of fun background sounds)
      3. Dragon's Descent (fantastic homebrew by @Revontuli with lots of great music and sound, perfect for FM)
      4. Dig Dug (Taizo Hori's shoes make music when you walk. Should be a lot of fun for the radio!)
      5. Solaris (Lot's of trippy sounds in that game)

      What FM station will you be on and at what time? Would love to listen live. :D

      Edit: Just looked to the side and saw that you broadcast on KXSF 102.5FM and KPCR 101.9FM. I'll try to be more observant next time. ;)

Actually now that you've asked,I'll be on the air tonight with that new episode on KPCR 92.9FM and online at http://kpcr.org you can tune in on that link. I'm on every Monday on that station from 10PM -12AM Pst.It's gonna be a really heavy show tonight,and funny enough guitarist Matt Pike of Sleep is also a gamer so we'll be chatting up on what his favorites are.     Going on the air tonight on the FM to do a Pulp Fiction and Kurt Cobain tribute with actor Frank Whaley and drummer Chad Channing,but first  I'm gonna play some Street Fighter II Turbo lol. Can't wait to playthrough some more serious Nintendo metal tonight! ❤️

      OK You're cracking me up about the spontaneous sound bytes...bad on purpose.  I heard it just fine until you bathed the vocals in reverb,  now I'm clueless haha...You play some cool stuff!

      The reverb part was just an ad I have to read out for the station so you didn't miss much in that part. lol Thanks! I felt like to say that because I bet people think I play certain soundbytes on purpose,and I usually play through alot of these files of horror movie trailer sounds rather blindly.It's crazy how it fits the music as if it were done on purpose at times lol.

    Aw drats I thought it was legit! lol So that game just goes on forever without an ending then? last 3 i played... Xyonix(Arcade) .................... My favorite Tetris clone,better than the original imo! lol T-Mek(Arcade) ................... Had to get my T-Mek fix,that game is hard tho! Megamania(2600)................it makes alot of difference when you use a controller with Turbo on it.

    Interesting opinion,but Colecovision's version of Centipede can't even compare to the near perfect port of the 5200's.. It's very close to the arcade and can imagine it musta blown alot of people away in the 80s. Then again I guess Coleco had some games which were better than the 5200's. Both totally awesum systems lol. I been hooked on Frogger 5200 lately.

    Some screenshots I took while watching TV on my laptop lately... What's Happening Now Three Stooges arcade cabinet in the background! I also interviewed Ernest Thomas the actor who played Raj too. Wish I could've asked him about that lol. Married With Children Game Boy pictured in an episode. I did ask David Faustino(Bud) if he's really a gamer,but he said he's not a fan of video games. Three's Company An arcade cabinet pictured in the background of one of the episodes,but wonder what game it is?? Can anyone identify what that arcade game is!?

    My last 3 were... Ninja Kid (NES) ...... one of my all time faves lol trying to beat it after I discovered it has an ending.. Laser Battle (Arcade) ...... sucky game... Space Fever High Splitter (Arcade) ...cool name but not a good Space Invaders clone imo.

    Most "bad" games are my favorites actually. Some hateful idiots years ago tried to say the Atari game that's based on my radio show is "bad" without even playing it(wow they must be the greatest gamers on earth to be able to judge a game without even playing it once,NOT),but it's far from that. I guess it's a matter of opinion really, but I do love ET for the 2600 alot. I love Chubby Cherub for NES too,its a really cute game. Also was playing Athena on NES the other day.It's "bad" but it's not like unplayable either.

    Sorry if I'm late for the show n tell,but here's some of the things I got from the last Secret Santa... Some comic back issues,ok that was thoughtful lol(I do collect comics)... A Barbie related item.... Gummy Sushi! Yummm lol... And this is probably my favorite of it all, a Tiny Arcade Atari 2600 console ❤️ And he gave me the Nomad j/k lol Had that for awhile... And then this Nintendo Switch game.Thanks Santa I needed this one!! Also gave me this crazy DIY Pong game,and also got this crazy Nes console shaped like a boombox for Xmas... LOL 💚 Thank you Santa!!!! and thanks again to CaptainBreakout and chicgamer for putting all this together. Happy 2024 everyone and can't wait for the next one in ten months!!!

    Finally sending out my recipient's stuff tonight lol (sending Chicgamer the tracking soon and I sent her a pic of my box) ,and I also just got mine from my Secret Santa. Looks like he included a portrait of himself on the mailing box! lol 💛 And I took a peep of what's inside and there's a bunch of wrapped goodies. Not opening until Xmas eve! It should be an epic exchange this year.

      True but I think last night really was their final one as far as touring. There are talks of a Vegas residency,and at the end of the show last night they revealed AI versions of the band that will take over in the future.

      Tbh,the one band I wanna see really bad live soon are Bit Brigade. Would love to witness their version of Metroid live ♥️I love Nintendo Metal.
