NFC = Near Field Communication. You tap it on an NFC reader to complete certain kinds of transactions. These are typically found on credit cards, government IDs, and recent-ish smartphones. It's not the kind of thing that you can install after the fact, it should be built in. You might want to get the Cricket store to swap out your hardware for you. If this is a new purchase, that shouldn't be a problem, but you'll probably have to pay a little more for a better device.

I've been taken Allegra lately... has been working extremely well, especially after dusting or working outside.

Well, the top shelf in the closet is all that's left.. but I will make that another day.  I probably should have taken something but I'm completely done for the most part.  I wish they made Roombas that could climb walls and suck up hard-to-reach spiderwebs and dust.

I need to get after it in a few places too.  I've actually started wearing a surgical mask for this type of thing and some outdoor tasks.  It looks ridiculous, but it helps.

I would chalk it down as a case of a "letter combination".

I pronounce it "giff" because (as already mentioned) it stands for Graphics Interchange Format. I'd never heard it differently until my habits had already been permanently set.

To really annoy people, you can pronounce it "gifffffffff" and really drag that f out.

Or, start calling another file fomat "j-pej".

I'm glad it didn't hit anything.

That happened to us one December- got the power lines, but missed the house by inches and fell in-between the cars in the driveway. Power company fixed the lines within a few hours. Found a strange lady poking around our yard a couple hours later- when I went out, she popped up holding a pair of clippers and asked if she could get some greenery for Christmas wreaths. Told her sure, go nuts.
