  1. I wonder if you could give me some info about how you would do the wheel. I'm working on making some mini-arcade machines from plug and play units, but so far have had to avoid the twist controller due to lack of knowledge. The joystick and buttons are easy, they're just switches and you can use just about anything, but the twist? I'd love to figure that out! Let me know if you can.
  2. You mean one of the old coleco ones from the eighties, or those new really pricey ones I've seen floating around the web recently?
  3. I'm in San Diego and wondered how many, if any, of the folks around AtariAge were local to me. If there's actually anyone here in image-conscious SoCal that'll admit to love for Atari, maybe we could all meet for a pizza and shoot the breeze Atari-style. Anyone curious about Flashback 2 with cartridge slot? I have one I'd be glad to show you. Don't worry, I have a girlfriend and I ain't no Internet sex weirdo, just curious if there were San Diegans here. Lemme know folks...
  4. Since we're on Atariage, I'll chime in with a 2600 one I think everyone's forgotten, SPACE INVADERS! Was way more fun and playable than the arcade. Hold down the reset button on power-up for double shot, game variations, etc. Arcade version was an icon but killed you, to death--limited long term appeal for me. 2600 version was played for hours and hours and hours by me and my brother back in the day, truly the first "killer app" and the first home conversion of an arcade game that I can remember, certainly the first one that was really good. The 2600 had few good arcade conversions, period. Anyone remember Donkey Kong and Pac-Man on 2600? Blech!!
  5. Jungle Hunt cart works fine on my modded FB2, although list says it doesn't--killer game by the way. My cart is a silver label picture cart with red lettering on the end label. Also, the end label has "25 3 R" stamped into it (no ink, just stamped)right above the "JU" of the title--dunno if that means anything. This is my first post, btw. Thanks to all who provide excellent info here!!
