First off, thanks for the positive comments, I think you were quite generous there, cheers. 505 is a good friend and a real master of mod music - we were very pleased he said we could have his music that was once destined for a different Jaguar game. I agree the controls are not perfect but I find the opposite - I wanted some inertia when changing direction. Guess you can only make the game you want to play & hope other people go with it. The code will be released one day no doubt so you can have a look at changing it if you think it's worth it. I find it's really hard to line up those horrible little V shaped baddies that come down in lines because the controls are _too_ responsive... the ship moves too many pixels at once for me The pic at the start - it's an in-joke for any real ST fans watching as much as anything, a parody of a very famous pic from a demo... think soft, cuddly friends with nice pictures on their tummies from the 80s

You'd be very lucky, I was getting a second one for a coder friend of mine to have a play with Jaguar. I do know that there are a few people sitting on multiple skunks, if you can convince someone you can put it to good use you might be lucky. So good luck

You don't need a plug-in, but for some bizarre reason, you dp have to tell it to use all available picture formats. If I remember correctly there is a checkbox hidden away somewhere in the options/preferences. Sounds fiddly, but I heartily recommend Xnview, really easy to use and you can convert your PCs pictures into PI1 format! I think there might be something not quite right about the latest xnview - a few of us have had to copy old .ini files to make it work with degas pictures. There's a thread about it on the xnview site. Far as I know it's not fixed yet so you'll need to copy the file from a friend or old install.

Reboot are not anti-American - two of our testing team (who are practically members of the group, call them the support group if you like) & our new coder are in the USA - we're a 5-nation team now It doesn't really matter where it was made or designed or any of that, what's important now is who's making games & supporting the few remaining fans wherever they live in the world. Gorf, you need to think very carefully before you answer that - it's not difficult to prove these things. With your anti-piracy zero tolerance stance you might just have made a rod for your own back here. All your credibility in any piracy discussions will reduce to zero. I seriously thought you of all people would never stoop so low as to rip off someone else's work & pass it off as your own. Is that what you want us to believe? Take the time to check what happened to Balmoral when he stole scene music & produced a commercial product with it. It wasn't pretty. I'd also now like to find out who Terrence's friend is & some further details on the remaining music in the game. Offering that now will prevent the Spanish Inquisition from a lot of angry sceners.
