  1. That'd be bitchin. FF VII could totally be played on the Jag CD too - it's just prerendered backgrounds for the most part. I think Resident Evil Could also be handled by the system. I also want the 32X ports of Virtua Fighter, Virtua Racing, and Star Wars Arcade.
  2. Centipede rocks on the 7800.
  3. I believe it. I had programmed in C and C++, Visual C++, Visual Basic, but it took me 3-4 weeks of reading about the 6502 and the 7800 in particular to make a single dot appear on the screen. I'm not a professional programmer though. Very nice work btw. PacManPlus should start his own company. I'll invest $1000 - more when I get my first paycheck for my first "real" job.
  4. When can I buy this?
  5. Awesome looking ad. I have Pac Man Collection and Jr carts - can't wait to buy the others!
  6. This game is so freaking wicked. I just played it today for the very first time. I just Googled it to find it. I didn't even know that it had an official site.
  7. And then the Saturn came out a year later and didn't cost and arm an a leg, and crushed both of them flat in 3D power. "...But the Jaguar 2 will blow them away."
  8. That's awesome. Glad you are enjoying it. Raiden is a blast as well. Are you going to get a Pro Controller?
  9. Most software should def run on them. There are a few text editors and such that like the high resolution monochrome modes. I guess it would depend on what you want to do with them really. Nice find though.
  10. There be whales here!

  11. There be whales here!

  12. I've seen people ask over $200 for this stupid game on Ebay.
  13. Gosh. That is awesome. Nice work. I DL'd the live CD GUI and also the OSX tools. Can't wait to play with them. I donated and I hope everyone that uses these can give what they can.
  14. I was curious about this. When you make a picture with Degas or Neochrome, can you use all 512 colors in the same picture with an ST?
  15. Yeah. Ironically, I sent a message today to someone that was "asking $300" for their 2600. I said, "You must be on crack."
  16. It was stuck in mono? You mean the screen?
  17. I've got USB, Ethernet, large HD and a relatively "modern" video card; the Cybervision64/3D, all inside this puppy. That's hot. Maybe one these days I can get my Falcon up to that level. Hopefully before the quantum computing era.
  18. Definitely an 800Mhz computer is totally usable for almost anything. Nevertheless, I would much rather see something competitive with current hardware. I read something somewhere about someone using the Coldfire for the Amiga OS (sort of like the Atari Coldfire Project). There are those that have upgraded their Amiga 1200s with PPC chips. It would seem to me that it would be possible to do something similar with the Coldfire where the Amiga OS or Atari TOS was running on the Coldfire and yet there could be another chip like an Intel Core i7 also on the board or an expansion slot. Either that or just port the thing to x86 already.
  19. That's awesome! Where did you get the hat? This game is pretty cool.
  20. I don't know tons about this, but some of the postings that I've seen by Amiga folks seem to indicate that this is a good thing for platform. I'd love to see a return of the Amiga myself. I don't know how they would do it on the PPC though... http://www.hyperion-entertainment.biz/index.php
  21. I use that same sort of adapter with no problems for both my 5200 and 7800. A blue screen sounds like something that your particular TV does when it doesn't sense a signal. Some TVs have options for multiple inputs (RCA, S-video, Component, etc). Make sure that you have it set to receive a signal from an antenna or coaxial cable. Let us know how it goes. No 7800 should go unused.
  22. I think it would be awesome to see what it was capable of.
