  1. It's pure plastic. I'm almost certain. Mine has already been through quite a bit, and there is no sign of paint loss.
  2. They are both the same, although the top-loader was alightly improved, and has a much better controller. The controller does work on the regular system though. The real difference is the price, the front-load is much cheaper. The problem with it is that most front-loaders have old cartridge conectors that usually need replacement. They were made of copper, and copper corodes easily.
  3. I've played a demo of the Xbox game. It's pretty cool. It feels alot like the classic arcade action games like Streets of Rage, and stuff like that.

  5. Or when people the name of the game on top of N64 carts. How lazy can someone be that they can't look at the front of the cart?
  6. That's crazy. Normally, NES carts are just smeared with maple syrup, ketchup, or peanut butter or something, or have some kid's name on them with a sharpie. But a cockroach? Now that's interesting!
  7. I heard that the GBA game will try to "mimic" cel-shading somehow. I know the GBA is powerful, but I can't picture that. And is Smilebit developing it?
  8. "Caption: Passing time with Pikachu Pfc. Ralph Abbatiello of Long Island, N.Y., plays a Pokemon video game Thursday in Kuwait while awaiting deployment. Soldiers of Task Force Ironhorse, led by the 4th Infantry Division, are arriving in Kuwait around the clock after long flights from U.S. bases. I'm guessing that's sapphire." Good fun. Thanks to Vincent_Goodwin of n-philes for the picture.
  9. Useless info: apparently the online part was removed because Capcom no longer has the Marvel liscence (Activision holds it.) So capsom could only make a direct port to xbox. Online would be cool though.
  10. That's cool. I think all 3rd parties should treat all systems equally *cough*Konami*cough*cough*. Sales are probably lower than Capcom expected because they are aiming to high. RE and RE0, 2 of the only 3 games Capcom has put out on the GC, both sold around a half million (I'm pretty sure, don't quote me on that!). Those are fine numbers, nobody should demand more.
  11. All of them, of course! But in particular, Oracle of Ages is my favorite, because it has some of the most clever dungeon design, it's under-apreciated, and it's portable! Also the linking with Oracle of Seasons is really cool. Also, Ocarina of Time and Adventures of Link come close.
  12. If you are ever in Frankenmuth MI, check out Memory Lane Arcade. The stuff there pre-dates everything I can think of, most of it is primitive mechanical machines. The most modern thing they had was a vintage Pacman cabinet from the early 80s.
  13. I can't believe these responses... April Fools Day was on April 1st, not today.
