  1. I have noticed they are.. very very lax in customer service. I paid them a premium price to get a signed NDS copy of Intellivision Lives! and it was 6 weeks after I saw the game on store shelves before I got my copy, and the goddamned chip/cartridge has never worked in any DS/DSi/3DS/New 3DS I have ever tried it in. I am not happy with them, and have been not happy for a very long time.
  2. We can make a commercial for it, if you want, heh. The more the merrier!
  3. Awesome, man. I'm in for the ROM release! Still willing to advertise on the ol' radio station. you can appeal to literally DOZENS of listeners worldwide, including a Russian prison! I'm not kidding about that. a Russian prison plays TPR 8 hours a day.
  4. When using almost every joystick I have available to try, One cannot go diagonal up and left at the same time.
  5. This video doesn;t evne show to worst parts: when you come upon the corpse of a friend that's been there for a while, the game would show you sometihng awful like maggots and bats and some such eating the corpse, while it played that horrible scream sound agian. And then... back to the gameplay as normal!
  6. That video is actually what inspired a horrible scene referenced in my first book, and written about in detail in the second.
  7. Everything about this game terrified me.. but i kept loading the game up, trying to win with all 4 characters. Especially the music, it really was the full package for me.
  8. Really? honestly I find myself preferring the 2600 version. It's smoother, and the symmetrical map makes setting traps up easier.
  9. Jump RIGHT on up to take that bullet, buddy.
  10. ...joking aside I'd actually take that. Even if the game is shit, a CIB is a CIB
  11. Reminder: When I had need of money to fix my truck ($150) in 2013, my thread was locked. This whiner begs for money every thirty days or so, and even posts former auctions that went nowhere three times without censure. My cat wasn't sick, my family was going to freeze. I sucked it up and found a second (third, technically) job. Just like I did here in Illinois. Run a radio station the whole time. Can't even get inty home brewers to make commercials for the station. Also wrote a book, which nobody bought. Writing a second. Who cares? Irritated.
  12. Probably true. Too many just wanted a "piece of the pie" though.
  13. found the RCa cable. I know for sure I don;t have the F-type so... we shall see when I can afford to order one or can find one in a nearby store. Doubtful since Radio Shack closed down.
  14. turns out the only one that made it to illinois with me was my System III. As I recall, it had controllers that kinda.. half worked. Can;t test it to be sure since I need to get a new RCA to coax adaptor for TV. hell, cna;t find the cable either, but I assume a normal red/white/yellow cable will work so long as I use the yellow cable on both ends.
  15. also: almsot cracked the top 25 in "sales" Once we do that, Amazon will automatically promote the book on it's own, transferring into real "sales" in the coming weeks.
  16. Oh and she set Merrick up as a ROMANTIC RIVAL against Nick. When you find out in the story who he is you'll... you'll see why I balked.
  17. Lol. The editor I had was... honestly pretty craptacular. She originally added like 5 thousand words to it, tying off what she called "loose ends" and telling me "Harlequin does not 'do' sequels" and they wanted rights to my characters. I informed them that meant they weren't "doing" my book, and ended up having to go back to an earlier manuscript. I don't think too many errors, other than stylistic choices, got through, but it's hard to edit your own stuff.
  18. Thanks, my friend. Since nobody here has hardware for sale, I'll start watching eBay for good deals.
  19. For anyone confused, you do NOt click the "read for free" button. that's something different. You just... buy the book like you'd normally buy anything. The cost will be zero.
  20. Also: these bump me up on the "bestseller" list. I'm at 31. If by some miracle we can crack top ten, that should translate into many "real sales" for weeks to come. Tell friends, family, even people who don;t know how to read to grab it today!
