  1. Not even sure I remember when I bought this...
  2. I suspect this will make @Rick Reynolds very happy.
  3. Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. 👍🏻 First off, if an episode is not funny then that is 100% Rick's fault as he is in charge of editing now. 😂 I give him all the material in the world so clearly he has bumbled it. We genuinely do want folks to be informed and entertained and occasionally laugh, although admittedly our sense of humour may be different than some others. Rick did confirm off air that he had recently received a "Word of the Day" calendar and "interstitial" had in fact been a recent word. Paul is currently working on securing more interviews so he'll definitely be back here and there going forward. We also have a Hockey episode to work on which he'll definitely be on so he can try and explain how he altered the ROM so that I was penalized 14 times in one game which was clearly the only reason he beat me 1-0 Yes I am a big fan of well done boxes and Collectorvision has been making CV and Inty games for a long time and I've been very happy with what they've produced. They do use polystyrene for cart retention and for keeping the box shape which I must admit I haven't really had an issue with. There are certainly a number of different cart retention solutions out there from all the different producers, some of which work better than others. I think J-F and Toby have always been open to feedback on their products so I might suggest messaging them with your thoughts. I can attest to the costs involved with producing these modern homebrews and they're not insignificant so I think it's a bit of a balancing act between wanting to add tons of bells and whistles and keeping costs from getting out of control, however I understand you wanting a different retention system for the cart. Some of the companies from the 125 era had some really good ones, starting with Mattel's original gatefolds to be sure. Rick and I are hopefully going to be recording soon and if he'd stop eating Cheezits for 5 minutes maybe we'd be able to get the next episode out in the not too distant future. Thanks again for listening and I hope you enjoy whatever we put out next.
  4. Tell me you're a moron without telling me you're a moron. Sorry, that's not fair, let's just say that was a moronic statement. You know by now from everyone's answers that those weren't "two random forum guys", and you chose to ignore all of the other points in my post. While I'm not 100% sure you're Princess Monaco on the ROM stealing site, I'm going to pretend you know who they are at a minimum. This is theft, plain and simple, no matter what sort of moral and semantic gymnastics those participating in the group theft program have gone through to try to justify "preserving" ROMs that didn't need preserving. If there was some existential threat to these ROMs do you not think someone else here would have mentioned they were concerned, seeing as this forum has the highest concentration of Intellivision fans, programmers and producers? If all the folks in the group were concerned about "preserving" these ROMs why not reach out directly to the programmers and producers and ask if all of you could help "preserve" these endangered ROMs? Could it be because this had nothing to do with preserving and rather was just stealing them and engaging in piracy? Even if every single one of these folks who programmed and owned these games decided they would never post these for sale ever again, that's their right to do so, and does not mean anyone else can just freely distribute them. That seems to be lost on some people, particularly you.
  5. There were two people in this thread alone that offered to host sales of ROMs on the future. Go back all of one page. That fact that you seem unable to understand the difference between stealing and preserving does not make the actions of a group of "heroes" ok. This is a scumbag move period. This is not what this community is about, we like to support those that have worked hard to make cool games for us to play, and have spent real money on them. The fact that sales of some ROMs were paused while new arrangements were made for distribution seem to have emboldened some folks that they should go ahead and steal from those who made and own these assets. If those who were sharing all these ROMs felt like these needed saving then reaching out to the programmers and producers just to make sure that was ok might have been the right move before just assuming that theft was the path forward. I've seen posts complaining that it was unclear whether these would be sold again, so asking those who owned them would have been an easy solution to clarify that question. Instead some appear to have chosen wilful ignorance in an attempt to justify their actions.
  6. They are no longer available for sale on that one site. Doesn’t mean they wouldn’t be made available again once Elektronite got their new website up and running. Discussions both public and private were ongoing as to where else these could be made available for purchase. Seems like some folks think ROMs temporarily not being available means piracy and free sharing are instantly on the table, and these ROMs needed rescued before they were lost forever. The twisted reasoning some folks go through to justify organized and collective theft is impressive. It would now appear the actions of a few bad actors with hero complexes has had a negative impact on the Inty community. Congrats to them I say, everyone is the hero of their own story apparently. Hope they’re happy.
  7. Very cool! I should look through mine
  8. Errrr. Your adopted Canadian brother thinks this is very cool.
  9. I notice you had no problem sending me unsolicited "tasteful" nudes and yet I don't have my games. Priorities I guess 😂
  10. So just to be clear, when will they be coming down? Also what time will they be going back up at?
  11. So glad to hear this Hank and so glad that you're still here with us. Here's hoping you regain your strength slowly but surely. Happy New Year's to you and your family.
  12. Sadly I suspect that tracking from Rev is actually another package of unwanted "tasteful nudes" and not actual games. Ugh. As for the release year, I'm ok with year of payment (kinda want to make a Rocketeer joke here) 😂
  13. I will take a look and record the serial numbers for the RH's
  14. Since it doesn't look like the Inty Club games are going to make it out until January we going to call them 2024 games or 2023? 🤔
  15. Rev would need to chime in. I believe it'll be close but might now be January given that shipping becomes a gong show this time of year.
  16. Yah I checked through my Canadian ones and there were four or five MM prefixes with the 2 offset, then two zeroes and then a four digit number, which to me means they were/are all under 10000. Most of the rest were the RH prefixes, can't remember the rest of the serial number range off the top of my head, and then there's one final one that starts with a "C". I think I posted pics before but will be documenting them all soon.
  17. I don't think that's two million. If you look at the earlier post with the MM prefix above it has the offset 2 as well. I think this is number 5865 of a Canadian run.
  18. Just more a joke about Rev's crush on certain podcasters. 😬
  19. Haven't clicked on this but looking at the title and the source would you say it's an unbiased review of the facts? 🤔😂
