  1. Both are in new condition pretty much. Just the games, no cases, posters, manuals. There really isn't a good price guide for these that I can find and I was hoping to get some help (and maybe a buyer).

Titles are Bounty Bob Strikes Back and Miner 2049er. I know the Bounty Bob one is way expensive on the 5200, but the only thing I can find on it for the 8-bit system is that it's very rare also... but I can't find a price and don't want to put them on Ebay and get myself ripped off.

    Thanks in advance guys.

Bounty Bob Strikes Back and Miner 2049er sold 2 days ago for $99 combined. YOu can get lucky on ebay, I got my Bounty Bob strikes back on ebay with a poster for $55 w/Miner 2049er about 18 months ago but I've seen it sell for as much as $227 (8bit cart).

So I guess it depends when listed and whose look'in for it :-)

  2. Bristles..... you missed this one, in may 2010 :D

He wants the cartridge version and those are disks.

I'd like an Espial cart too if anyone has one to sell.

hi defender - yes, you right, cartridge version is what i'm looking for. I have bristles disk (not boxed) ...I enjoy the game...

search continues! anyone has Espial? Please share some pictures and your story.

I actually know someone who has Britles cartridge boxed and sealed but they want a fortune, and I do mean a fortune!!!

  3. thanks everyone, great discussion! I still don't see one peron step up up and say they have an espial :-) and how they got it...anyone out there have Espial?!

I'm scanning ebay daily for espial, bristles, fort apocalypse, and super zaxxon and they never show up on there. I mean bounty bob (miner2049er part 2) shows up almost weekly! I dunno about you guys but bristles or fort apocalypse is so rare i'd pay $100 for it with label in good condition, agree?

    thanks again to all!

  4. I've been looking on ebay for a very long time, over 2 years, and I've never seen an Espial atari 8-bit cartridge for sale. Anyone here have one boxed or loose they can post images of and perhaps tell a story on how you acquired it? and how much you paid for it?

I've heard it's an ultra rare find or maybe even a myth :-)

    Thanks in advance.

  5. hmmm...sorry dude, you were taken.

$125 for a broken atari with a working drive and few books isn't great...better luck.

I'm looking to sell my atari 800,1 joystick 1 set of paddles, couple of booxs/manuals and 20 cartridges for $150.

I have an atari 800xl myself and like it much better then the heavy 800 system.

  6. My 8bit days in the early and middle 80s was great! I lived in an apartment building where 7 kids all had atari 800xl or atari 400/800. We used to get together and play games after school and weekends for hours.

I remember playing decathlon until I could not move my hands and arms! We had tournaments and competitions and prizes for each event and overall decathlon score, it was pretty awesome. Couple of neighbors down the street joined in and it was about 10 of us having various competitions for different games...it went on and on for months until a few friends moved and others began upgrading to the atari 520/140ST :-) (myself icluded) ...loved the BBS and getting games and trading...my phone bill to enland and germany was high, my father nearly killed me!!!

  7. Looking to buy or trade for these 2 cartridges. (bristles and fort apocalypse)

Don't care if boxed or w/instructions...as long as cartridge works!

I have a few cartridges for trade.

    Spy Hunter

    OSS Basic XL

    IDSI Speedway Blast

    Zaxxon

    Baseball

    Zenji

just to name a few plus a bunch of common cartridges. I also have tapes and bunch of books...plus I have an atari 1050 disk drive boxed I can trade as well (boxed and working fine)

...anyone interested send me a note

  8. Well, you are selling Blaster. Eugene Jarvis released this under the condition that nobody should sell it for profit.

    Allan

If this is true please stop selling it immediately. Blaster was only provided to the community under the express condition that it not be sold for profit. By doing so you are violating the trust that Eugene put in the community.

    Tempest

I didn't get blaster from here.

In fact none of the games on my site were acquired from the atari age forums. I have three private sources that I get the games from. none of them are related to atari age or any other discussion forum.

    A. There's one prototype out there and it came from the programmer (via a friend of his). If you have another Blaster prototype I'd love to hear where you got it from.

    B. It doesn't matter where you got Blaster from, the programmer said it was not to be sold for profit. Please respect his wishes.

    Tempest

Selling for profit on ebay probably wrong without permission. Should at least say games are reproductions and not originals. Misleading and surprised no one on ebay reports that kind of stuff. I for one think it's cool to tweak the games and make'em better but I'd only buy original :)

It's all good if you know what you are buying I guess!
