  7. If i remember well, the Power Cartrdige III on C64 could freeze at any time a program and then save the RAM on disk. Many memory resident programs was done Atari ST an Amiga, but sometime uncompatible ( interrupts conflicts )! Hardware was the best
  8. for some systems, like Amiga, Atari ST, C64, some specials tools like Action Replay could be also very usuful to rip music & graphics
  9. i like so much the perfect timing excluding any top detection brilliant
  10. all these programs are typed from a super french magazine "Hebdogiciel".. this magazine was published every weeks with games lisgintgs to type for nearly every computers
  11. so, if i understood well : TI99 don't have TMS5220 but the previous version, TMS5200, labelled CD2501E-NL and it's a huge difference in sound quality ! Unfortunally, i didn't found the CD2501e-NL datasheet to see if it's possible to remplace the original CD2501E-NL by the latest TMS5220 & roms, but i found a partial answer on WIKI : TMS5220 (AKA CD2805E?): Improved version of the TMS5200, pin but not function compatible (has new LPC tables and a new chirp table); used on (later) Apple II Echo 2 cards, (rumor) on the very last run of TI 99/4A speech modules.
  12. you're right, i have to try on real TI...but actually i still didn't connected sound on my TI99 ( F18A).. here it is the archive... SYNTHTEST.zip
  13. yes it's working ! i think something was bugged in my bin to byte conversion voices are good, but samples like wolf are little bit strange...
  14. i tryed some files on the TI99, it's definitively not compatible Here it is by exemple "chouette.bin"... it sounds more R2D2 than a bird !
  15. is it possible to get a LPC string used in your game to see the result on TI99 ?
  16. sorry to ask this stupid question, but except for collection, is this device still usefull today ?
  17. really great job i'm jealous... i started 3 weeks ago and look the result today ...time...always time ! i'm also searching for a good solution for sound...
  18. the "thunder" sample on title screen i really realistic...is it player by the TMS5220 ?
  19. i tryed to sample many different type of sound ( piano, drums, etc..) to LPC, but without good result. is TMS5220 have more elaborates algorythms / tables ?
  20. i see, i think i still have the 1.5.2.1...great news !!! thanks for this info ! ( PS : your PEB is incredible )
  21. what version are you using ? i tryed 6 months ago, it didn't supported write operation on disk image... ( i'm using the SDCard HxC Floppy Emulator )
  22. yep, it's really simple : this program just open a file on DSK1. As TI99 don't have clock, i use a sprite to calculate the time this operation need to be finished. As Lee perfectly explained, on CF7 or emulator, the operation is really fast, so the sprite can't move more than 4 pixels.
