Greetings all,
I am trying to finish my RED LABEL collection for the Atari 2600 and I need the following sealed in box games:
- BMX Airmaster (not TNT release)
- Yars' Revenge
- 32 in 1 (I've never seen one sealed before, but maybe I'll get lucky here!)
I'm only interested in sealed games in good condition. I pay well!
Thanks!

There is a market place forum for these types of posts.

I've been looking for a sealed BMX Airmaster for a very long time now (PAL and/or NTSC) ... at this point, I'd be jumping up and down at the opportunity to get ahold of one for $200.
If anyone ever hears of another lead, please let me know -- I'll even throw in a little something for a "finders fee"!
Take care and happy gaming,Joshua

Your post makes me want to unwrap my Red Label Space Invaders ... I just can't bring myself to do it!
If I run across an open one, I'll take a look and get back to you.
Cheers

Greetings all,
I've noticed a few discrepancies with the packaging of some of my Red Label games and was wondering if anyone could offer some insight.1. Midnight Magic
I have two copies of Midnight Magic (both NTSC) and one of them does not have a UPC Code.
- Why?
- Is one worth more?
- Other than Jr. Pac-Man (see below), have you seen this with other games?
2. Jr. Pac-Man
My copy of Jr. Pac-Man does not have a UPC Code on the bottom of the box. Although I haven't spent a lot of time looking, I have never seen a Red Label Jr. Pac-Man with one.
- Why?
- Have you seen one with a UPC Code?
3. Double Dunk
I have two copies of Double Dunk and one of the copies has a "NEW" sticker in the bottom, right hand corner. I also have several other games with this "NEW" sticker (e,g, Dark Chambers, Road Runner, Secret Quest, etc.)
- Do you think all of the games in the Red Label collection were release at some point with this "NEW" sticker? If so, I think it would be neat to try and collect all of them with and without the sicker!
- Do you think the value is any different between the ones that have the "NEW" sticker and the ones that don't?
Thanks everyone for your time and input!

Thanks for the responsestatus guys ...
0078265317 - thanks for looking. Over the past few months, I've been able to find all the carts, just not SIB. If I still can't complete the collection in the next few months, I might start buying CIB or even the loose carts.
Schitti - I am now collecting the PAL versions too! My ultimate goal is to have every title available in both (if released) PAL and NTSC. I've never seen a sealed 32 in 1 either (or a non TNT Airmaster), but I'm really hoping to get lucky!
Dobidy - Finding the loose carts isn't too hard if you have a little time and patience, but I'm trying to finish my sealed in box collection ... and I'm getting close!

There are sethere are several ways,
A couple are
Types of shrinkwrap
Blemishes on box(under the shrink)
Was the item ever shrink wrapped to begin(not all 2600 were)
Is there a significant value difference for SIB vs mint CIB for Atari? Wouldn't it be easy to shrink wrap a CIB box with non-factory plastic? How could one tell?
Interesting ...
I think I might have a hard time dealing with my collection if I knew it wasn't legit. I guess if the collection was only for my enjoyment, and nothing else, something like that might be acceptable. I'm going to keep looking for the real deal for a long time before I even consider doing this or settling for CIB.
In the meantime, I'm definitely going to pay careful attention to the carts I do buy just in case someone else had this idea
Cheers!

32 in 1 missing (green cart label, so maybe it doesn't count, still a red box)
and if you want to be strict about it, the 16 in 1 red label (no box for this though, it was a Jr pack-in)
Wow ... thanks for the info!
I have more work than I thought.

Thanks! After reading your post, I started looking. I can't believe I missed that before (doesn't show up on a red label search here). I have a feeling this is going to be a lot are to fund NIB than Yars or Kong!
Cheers

Looks like you still need BMX Airmaster as well
Hey there ... I think I have that, but it's a TNT game. I'm going to go double check everything - thanks for the info!

I can't help you, but any chance you could put a picture up?
I have a complete PAL collection, but in various states of sealed/cib/cartridge myself.
Hey Moonsweeper -- thanks for the response. I am going to start collecting the PAL carts soon!
Here are a few pics of my Red Label collection (and a sealed Atari Jr that looks great with the red boxes)!

Greetings all,
I've been working on a sealed collection of 2600 Red Label (NTSC) games and I might need a little help finding the last two that I'm missing.
Does anyone know where I can find a sealed copy of Donkey Kong (not junior) and/or Yars Revenge? I've been keeping an eye on ebay and Craigslist, but I thought some of you may have other ideas.
Thanks!
Joshua
