Disc Replay normally has a couple big display cases full of mostly NES/SNES and Genesis stuff, along with anything else unique or retro.

If someone needs an opening, I'd love to participate.
If all teams are full, sign me up as Team Jamica.
I'm pretty sure Team Canada has one more opening, so you're welcome if you'd like to join cashcow06 and me.

I think I'll go ahead and join Team Canada. It's about time I brush up on my Ice Hockey skills.

It does seem like there are a lot more resellers inflating prices nowadays. Back when I first started collecting in '09, you could still find old games at a flea market that were being sold cheap by the original owners. (Or at least not resellers that have an entire booth with all sorts of games and game consoles.) Then when that boxed Air Raid sold, back in 2010 I think, it was all over. Now everybody at the flea market is a reseller who always bases their asking price on the highest Buy-It-Now listing on eBay.

I'm gonna go with 20th Century Fox. Worm War I is one of the very first Atari games I played. Turmoil is also probably one of the most fun 2600 games out there.

Buying a CIB Commodore 64
completing my collection of LSL games for Atari ST by buying a copy of Leisure Suit Larry III
And buying a power supply for a ColecoVision I've had for almost 4 years now, untested...

I swear they sold those things back in the day. Like foam coverings for the metal switches. I almost created a thread about this - but not with the AVGN tie in - because it had been bothering me lately because I remember seeing them in magazines but neither I nor my friends had them. Google Searches have come up blank on the subject for me.
Maybe they did. I remember seeing a couple Atari consoles on eBay with the same kind of switch covers a while back.

Sounds like a great idea to me. I'm a big fan of PoP and would love to see it on an Atari console like the 7800 or 2600.

The first computer I owned was/is an Atari 1040STfm that I bought from B & C ComputerVisions about a year ago.

I had a similar problem with my PS2 slim a while back. It wouldn't detect a disc at all. However, I accidentally got it working again by setting something moderately heavy on the disc lid. So maybe try setting something on it or pushing down on it.

I'd like to change things up a bit, maybe customize my spare 2600. I kind of like the look of them.Looks like crap compared to the stock silver pegs. why would you want those?

Has anybody been able to confirm his copy or talk to him about it?5 if you count Terry Rutt's boxed Air raid...

To me, it seems like there's more complaining coming from the people that call themselves patient than the so called "whiney-crybabies" on here.

This thread is going nowhere

I've been wanting to ask this for a while. Where the hell are you finding all these rare gems?

I'm glad to see something new from this project.

I hope you have a spare 2600 or two on hand. If you're playing 25 hours straight with no breaks, you're bound to burn one up.

I figured the SAM Coupe would have come up a few times by now.
-
I wish a lot of people would stop going with the "if it's old it's worth a ton" logic.
-
I would have to say the SAM Coupe. I've always wanted one, I just don't think I'll ever have the money.

On the B&C website, they said they are apparently out of 1040STfm labels. I'm sure it's a 1040, but I haven't had the chance to test the memory to make sure.

I don't know about you, but whenever I buy a brand new sealed game, I like to film me unboxing it. And sometimes I like to share the videos here. Anyway, I figured it might be cool to start a thread where people can post unboxing videos of ST games if they want to. SInce I recently bought a couple games and made unboxing videos of them, I guess I'll start us off.

This has been bugging me lately.
My brother used to have a ton of DOS games on his computer that he would download, and there's one I remember, but can't figure out what it is. All I can remember is that you started out in a big mansion, and the game was set up kind of like a Sierra Adventure game. And there was some guy that would block you from going up stairs or into a different room. I can't remember which. Does anybody know of any games like this?

I have my Ice Hockey and Skiing scores. When I'm done hanging my head in shame, I might post my score on Mogul Maniac.
