I just noticed that the latest N64 everdrive does PAL games as well.
I wonder if this is true of the Mega Everdrive..I sure would love to play some Darxide on my 32x
My Everdrive MD plays Darxide.

I was not a fan of Sega's modified version of the arcade on the Sega Genesis.
Same here. It looked good, first few areas played fine, but the later levels were junky. I hope this is more faithful to the original.

Amazing stuff. Holy crap. Never expected this to be found. I'm looking forward to playing it & comparing to all the other versions, but I'm sure I'll enjoy it for what it is, too. I have fond memories of this cabinet at the local Pizza Hut, situated next to Street Fighter 2 and NARC.

How to I set up a joy stick?
Also, how do I get full screen view?
Config > Input > Gamepad
Alt+Enter

Placing my bets on "micro transaction-based mobile puzzle game".

I just googled it instead of clicking the video.
Yup, I wound up doing the same. It's a shame if they do shut down... why couldn't it happen to Kotaku instead?

The Jaguar controller's strengths... did he mention any of those?
1. Comfortable for those with large hands, unlike the NES controller and others.
2. D-pad that was less likely to cause blistering, unlike the PS1 controller.
3. Less cluttered than the current D-pad plus joystick controllers (including PSX dual shock which was out then).
4. Less heavy than the current D-pad plus joystick controllers (including PSX dual shock which was out then).
5. No low-quality miniature joysticks like the current D-pad plus joystick controllers (including PSX dual shock which was out then).
6. D-pad in the comfortable location (unlike XBox 360).
7. Has a D-pad rather than a non-centering joystick.
8. Has a D-pad rather than a disc that makes it difficult to precisely know what direction you're going to move.
9. Has a D-pad rather than a joystick with a lot of throw for greater speed and precision.
10. Has action buttons that are fast (unlike Fairchild, Intellivision, Colecovision, and 5200 — all of which are slower to use).
11. Has action buttons that don't interfere with movement (unlike Fairchild).
12. Has controllers that are not hard-wired (unlike Fairchild and Famicom).
13. Not prone to breakage... not delicate (unlike Fairchild and 5200).
14. Not wireless.
15. No coiled phone cable that pulls the controller away from you (unlike my memory of the Intellivision).
16. Comfortable for use by both left-handed and right-handed players.
17. Overlays plus keypad could be used to create a realtime action RPG like Dungeons of Daggorath where going to menus to use items isn't practical.
Most of these could also apply to a smooth stone.

The at games description says two controllers with one connector. I guess that means they are connected? Can you still play two player? Will they work with a USB adapter?
Yes, per usual. Yes. Sure.

Is there a companion article to go with this video of some guy yapping for fifteen minutes straight?
I can read.

VGA is a massive improvement over composite. Do it. Or do emulation, like BDW said.
http://www.beharbros.com/ I like the Hanzo.
That... is pretty darn cool. Price is reasonable when compared to other scanline doohickeys. Thanks for the link.

Thought those looked cool; didn't like the idea of having a flap hanging off my phone when using it.

Philips thought on the CDi:
They changed their minds when nobody wanted TV encyclopedias:

Never had the dedicated keyboard, though it is rad. Always used a PS/2 adapter. $15 sounds fair for either.

I tried Xevious and realized the control panel had a 4-way joystick. Talk about freakin' useless.
Aww, that's the worst. They'll make multi-game cabinets with a 4 way stick, and include Pac Man, Dig Dug... and then 30 games that are totally unsuited to a 4 way stick.

Number keys, whatever. But only three action buttons? People complain about the 3DO having "only three buttons" when it actually had five, but will defend that goofy jag pad. I don't get it.

River City Ransom: stat-grinding and face-busting.
Super Mario Kart: racing and shooting.
Kirby's Dream Course: golf and action.

Depending on the method, your aim may not line up. Known issue with flat CRTs and SMS phasers.

27" CRT. I grew up playing on either a 25" or 27", so it's retro enough for me.
Inputs range from RF-Composite-SVideo-Component, so games can be as sharp or fuzzy as I like them to be.
Only problem at all is the flat glass screen, so SMS lightgun stuff doesn't line up properly.

Cat Goes Fishing looks alright, reminds me of the fishing minigame in Link's Awakening.

Nice looking Genesis. Do you know which revision motherboard's in there?

Thanks to all!
Anyone have an opinion on this one though?
Frankly I'd like to have something good and NEW as opposed to good and 25+ years old. I know, I know, the hardware is that old too. I know I can test the PS with a volt meter or whatever but I'd just as soon have new.
Isn't that one old, too? I don't think Innovation is still in business, and the seller claims to have been selling that model for 20 years.
Regarding multi system supplies in general, they're not necessarily all bad. I have one that's modeled after a laptop PSU, but with interchangeable tips & selectable output voltage up to 16v or so. It's been my power supply for various systems until I could pick up better single-use supplies for them and it's worked great. I think it was like $40 at Fry's Electronics.

Anybody know anything about dual stick setup on this emu? Would like to play some Space Dungeon on my Wii.
