  1. I agree with this. It always seems to take awhile for devs to take advantage of the "new thing", and show off what it can do. For example, on the X360, it wasn't until Gears of War came out that I was like "wow - this is why I bought this system". For the PS4, it was Horizon:Zero Dawn. That being said, Microsoft buying Zenimax (Bethesda, ID, etc) for over 7 Billion bucks is impressive.

Comes with all cords, plus a VGA cable, 3 games, and 2 VMUs - one of which is new. The games are Sega Bass Fishing 2, Jet Grind Radio, and Gauntlet Legends. It is a revision 1 unit, and is tested and working fine, and has been confirmed working with CD backups.
  3. Well, since I can't figure out the bbcode stuff, try this?... https://www.ebay.com/itm/323847912534
  4. I never really use it, but it's in great condition and comes with Street Fighter 2, a 6-button pad, and an scart cable from retro gaming cables. [ebay]323847912534[/ebay]
  5. Heyhey! Am selling my NES console along with 4 games - eBay Auction -- Item Number: 323659001063
  6. Selling a large batch of double-sided HIGH DENSITY floppy disks. Not sure about the c64 or the Atari 8-bits, but these will not work for the Apple II. (They're not double density) Auction reposted!! New Link: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 323658999755
  7. Heyhey, Selling my SNES and my SFC on ebay, along with 6 games and a SCART cable from retro gaming cables. (The SFC does not come with a power cord, but a Genesis one will work.) Auction reposted!! New link: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 323659000446
  8. This is an interesting read.. https://byuu.org/articles/fpgas-arent-magic/
  9. No, I asked if they made the smart business decision of having some aside of the pre-orders to sell "when the floodgates open", so to speak, then asked if there was a timeframe for a restock. You gave a smart-ass condescending reply, claiming that they'll just have "pre-orders" when they sell out. (You should have just said "when restocks are inbound", but no, you wanted to be an ass.) I demonstrated to you that your argument was wrong, since there are no "pre-orders" on a different product, just that it's "out of stock". Could they do it? Sure. But they aren't with the Mini. So, you're wrong. You're acting like an idiot, but I'm the thick one that needs to stop? Take your own advice.
  10. Ah, you mean like what they're doing with the NT Mini, right? Oh, wait... While I may not have gone for a masters degree, I'm pretty sure "Out of Stock" does not mean the same as "Pre-Order". Look dude, if you're going to try and be a smart ass, be smart.
  11. Because most people don't know about this. In this case especially, reviews = advertising. On the 7th, the core of people who read the larger scale gaming sites (like Gamespot, or Kotaku, for example) will likely be all for it. (An audience that will have no idea what you mean by "core store" or who Kevtris is, btw.) Understand, you're the minority here. You might be super-excited for it, but the fact of the matter is that in 10 days, way, way more people will know about this, and it looks like there won't be any available. In your defense though, I'm assuming Analogue is in this for the business of making money, and not to only appease a small niche audience. I'm also assuming that this will be much more successful since 189.99 is a much more reasonable price than 500.00. Maybe I'm wrong here, but I doubt it. So, yeah, hopefully they put some aside, or have a big restock on the way.
  12. I'd be on board with this. I've been considering the AVS, but would jump on a plastic NT Mini redesign instantly. (Provided that it also was 189.99)
  13. I hope for the sake of smart business that "Ernest" put aside several thousand units for the 7th. Otherwise, once the reviews hit, you'll have tons of interested customers, and nothing to sell them. Any word on a timeframe for restocks since 2 of the 4 models are sold out?
  14. Cfillak, thanks for the answer, that's what I figured. Cacophany - even with that consideration, it's hard not to believe that half of that price is the aluminum block.
  15. A few questions... Howgoes the progress on the Genesis/MD core? I guess what I'm really asking here is, after the Super NT is out, can we expect a "Mega NT"? I'd preorder that in a heartbeat, especially if it connects to a Sega CD. Also, will there ever be a cheaper, plastic Mini NT? With the Super NT bring priced reasonably, it seems like the only reason the Mini is so expensive is the aluminum body. Keep up the awesome work! HuckleCat
  16. I'm getting rid of a few of my older systems to make more space in my house, and sadly I must part with my Apple //e. It comes with a Super Serial card for easy use with ADT Pro, 128k, a Tac1+ Joystick, a Disk ][ drive, about 90 disks, needed cables, etc. The machine is clean and is in great shape. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Apple-IIe-2e-e-w-128k-Super-Serial-joystick-disks-/322585243479?hash=item4b1b942f57:g:jxUAAOSwKoRZYozJ
  17. Heyhey, Been cleaning out my house and getting rid of a few older consoles to make space. I'm selling a Model 1 Genesis (Non TMSS) - This means it can play the few games that got locked out later, such as Budokan and Zany Golf. Also with it is an SCART cable from retrogamingcables.com. You can see it here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/-/322533844816?
  18. Stay away from the //c+, and go for a normal //c. With a //c, you don't have to mess with an external drive, you don't need to worry about memory, and despite what Akator said, you will be able to play pretty much any game. (In the 10 years I had one, I never had a game not work for me.) A IIe is exandable, but you may end up with one with only 64k, and then some of the best games you cannot play. (Wings of Fury, Test Drive, Prince of Persia and Airheart all need 128k, which the //c comes with.) So, yeah, get a //c. The one without the plus.
  19. I blame this article: http://www.computerworld.com/article/2537397/computer-hardware/sold-on-ebay--new-in-box-apple-ii--never-opened.html Computerworld wasn't the only media site to run this non-story. Ever since this jerkoff paid more for an Apple IIc than anyone in history, including when it was new, every Apple II's price has skyrocketed, starting the next day. They see that article and think "Well, if a new one is worth that much, my used one must be worth half that." The price has come down considerably since then, but still on ebay you'll find loads of people wanting over 300 bucks for a //c.
  20. Not sure if anyone here can help, but I'll shoot... I have an older pc joystick, a Wingman Extreme 3D Digital, and it works oddly in AppleWin. Now, the thing is like at least 15 years old, it actually comes with a PC Joyport-to-USB adaptor. Despite this, Windows 8.1, and now Windows 10, see the joystick right away, and know exactly what it is - and it works great. With AppleWin it "sorta" works. By this I mean, it can "see" right, and down, but not left or up. The buttons work fine. Normally I use a 360 pad with it, and that seems to be awesome, but with the game "Wings of Fury" I kinda need a stick that has an absolute corner so takeoffs and dive-bombs work correctly. Is there something I can do, or should I post something to AppleWins github issues section? I just want to play it on something that has savestates. I don't mind using my IIe for it, I just want to be able play it in doses without losing progress.
  21. It depends. Do you have an Xbox 360? I ask this because you mentioned Skyrim and Red Dead Redemption. Neither of those are out for the XOne or PS4, however, the XOne has (or will have) the ability to play X360 games. Since those 2 games were among the best of the last generation, I'd say it's pretty likely both will be playable on the XOne. If you have an X360 though, and have those games, then, once again, it depends. XOne will have Forza Motorsport, Halo, Gears of War, etc. PS4 will have Gran Turismo, Uncharted, Infamous, etc. The one thing the PS4 will have that the XOne will not is wide Japanese support. Games like the Final Fantasy X collection, Final Fantasy XIV, Persona 5, Dragon Quest Heroes, Omega Quintet, etc. (This happened with the PS2 and 3 as well.) If you mainly like western games from 3rd party companies, like Ubisoft, Activision, EA, etc, then flip a coin. The PS4 may be selling better, but that doesn't mean the XOne is selling badly. The 3rd party exclusive game has mostly been reduced to a timed deal. I have a PS4, and I love it, and have no regrets about not going with the Xbox this time around. (Last gen I had a 360, and before that an original Xbox) Unless you're a fan of obscure JRPG's you really can't go wrong with either one. I guess judge by the first party exclusive lineup.
  22. Unfortunately, last I heard about it was that it was cancelled. http://www.playstationlifestyle.net/2014/08/24/report-agent-ps3-cancelled/ I kinda figured it would end up a PS4 thing as well. Speaking of the PS4, I'm also surprised that the newer Shadow of the Beast game hasn't been shown either. I wonder whats up with that game?
