Hi, I discovered video games when I was about 7 at an uncle house back in the late 70's playing some pong style console. From that moment I was hook. A few years later around Christmas time, I discovered the Intellivision at a Radio Shack and played a few minutes of Auto Racing on their display unit. I begged for an Intellivision (TandyVision One) with Auto Racing (of course) as a combine Birthday (21st December)/Christmas gift. My wish came true (thanks to my cool mum, she was a single parent and this was not a cheap toy...). I played for many years and eventually moved on to the Commodore 64 briefly (but played a lot at friends house), the Amiga which I played for many years (my favorite computer), then on to PC, Playstation, Xbox, Xbox 360. But I also played a lot of NES, SNES, Mega Drive with friends.
I am originally from Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, but married an Australian girl in 2000 and have been living in Adelaide, Australia since then and have become a proud Aussie citizen in 2005. I speak French (my first language) and English (obviously). I have started collecting retro games in 2001 and have built quite a collection of Atari 2600 and Intellivision (with some Atari 7800, C64, Colecovision...). I also collect the Retro Gamer Magazine, but missing a few issues (maybe you can help?). Whilst you are there, maybe we can trade, or even better meet if you are in Adelaide.
