I enjoyed it a lot!  It's the only episode of 7, 8 and 9 that I want to go and pay to see in theatres again.  I felt like a kid watching it... next to my 10 year old son yet!  lol

I was very happy with it.  Thought it was a satisfying ending.

  3. Did you ever wonder where Linus got his strange, occultic belief in the Great Pumpkin? Childhood imagination or something more sinister?

The only reason you're not asking this question about Santa Claus is that, let's face it, Santa has had more publicity.

I look at the Great Pumpkin and the Peanuts Christmas Special as a two-part salvation for Linus, because he's the one quoting the Bible. Somewhere in between, he was converted.

  4. I just want to say that I am so jealous of everyone who went to the Portland Retro Gaming Expo this year. It really looked like an amazing show!

  13. For a couple of days I actually let my Atari Age subscription expire. I really felt exposed. It was like the time I had a dream where I was standing naked in front of my high school class and all the kids were yelling "that guy's dingus is hanging out!" At least I think that was a dream.

Totally understand. Mine been expired for about a year. No longer working has lots of advantages, but some disadvantages as well. Have to watch my budget for the first time in a long while.

  18. Did somebody say McDonald’s? Look for the Golden Arches. You deserve a break today. It’s a good time for the great taste of McDonald’s. Two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions, on a sesame seed bun. It’s Mac tonight. Food, folks and fun. Bah-da-bum-bah-bah. I’m lovin’ it.

Wasn't there a burger years ago made partly of seaweed called Arch Deluxe? I'll have to look it up, but I remember liking it. But, yes, as some have said, McDonalds is not healthy, and I admit an addiction of once-a-week (I believe even that is too much, from what I've read).
