    Walked into a local Long John Silver's to pick up dinner. Never actually been inside one. The classic fisherman's grotto/wharf vibe is kinda cool (and the ship's bell). Too bad they don't get liquor licenses and sell draft beer to go with the fish and hushpuppies. They even have metal walls behind the registers -- perfect spot to put a couple taps (a domestic and a fancier micro brew/import).

      Ours went under in the 80's. A cool liquor store is there now. There was another place called Arthur Treacher's Fish & Chips, I recall it being excellent...Now it's a Subway.

      Here in Ukraine, pretty much every American fast food establishment serves beer, with the sole exception being McDonalds. Unfortunately, we don't have LJS here.
