I have a fancy auto-wah pedal, I bet that would be interesting

Double Dragon for the Atari 7800 - good or bad? Opinions?
Linndrum replied to Giles N's topic in Atari 7800
I really liked it too! The music was the only letdown! I love the graphics! -
Nevermind, found it That's really cool! Nice work!
-
Any chance I could get the MFA? I really want to check it out!
-
I don't blame him, after reading this whole thread I'm guessing the Lynx forum isn't full cunts. I'm a-guessing that's more inspirational.
-
Man, you're one the best! I always liked the 8-Bit Killer soundtrack
-
Hells yeah! I've been dying to see a 7800 Paperboy
-
As far as the music, it's obvious the musician only got the bassline done. So that's all your hearing. I usually start with drums or bassline too when remaking a song.
-
No probs. I haven't written game music for years, I want to get back into it.
-
Nah I can rock that version with the regular gamepad!
-
Yup! I want to see a version made if it doesn't exist. I know I can do the Music and SFX. I've made games in the past but never for Lynx or 7800 but I'm already getting the ball rolling for a 7800 version. Hopefully some peeps join in.

Wanted: Feedback For Impossible Mission & Realsports Baseball
Linndrum replied to nosweargamer's topic in Atari 7800
Impossible Mission on the 7800 is my favorite version! Love the gfx and sound. -
Yeah none of the ports have the right feel. I think the japanese NES version was the best overall but I grew up with the awful C64 version.
-
Agreed! It's been driving me nuts for a long time.
-
If someone could knock up a sprite and some background I'd give it a go.
-
Since we're never getting a lynx version? I've started remaking the music with Pokey(mp3 sample attached) if anyone is game for an XM version? The arcade game already used the YM2151 so let's pokey it up! Rolling Thunder 1.mp3
-
Here's a sample of the Pokey version in executable .xex file, I'm still getting re-acquainted with Raster Tracker: Rolling Thunder.xex
-
I just skipped to the last thread, but I was wondering if there's a musician on the project? I'd like to do some Lynx music!
-
I'm making a Pokey version right now but shouldn't be a problem Chipperizing it. Thanks!
-
I had an EGM with a screen shot of it in action, Albatross was ducked down with a masker coming at him in the tire section of the first level! I'd like to think it was the game in action anyways. I remade the stage 1 song a long time ago with Madtracker though and I'm working on a pokey version right now: https://soundcloud.com/t1gerdog/rolling-thunder-standard-level Rolling Thunder is one of my favorite games ever, I'd love to see a Lynx version. Same for 720!

Hopefully you hear something back at some point

Was EotB complete or just prototype?

*Edit (Oops, it is the CPC) Thought this was CPC at first but it totally looks Lynxage: http://www.uvlist.net/groups/info/rollingthunder3rd pic to the right. Anyone have any more pics?
