  1. Is there a way to simply remove my current status update, so that the status update area shown on my profile page is just blank? I don't post status updates. The one and only time I did was back in October. That comment has no context now, and I don't want it to remain on my profile page.
  2. Bump. Made a list in the OP of what's still available.
  3. Thanks for the info. I'm going to go ahead and pick this one up then.
  4. Is it worth picking this one up? My RE fatigue is extreme, but I've heard this one is decent. Ha!
  5. He claimed some stuff from one of my "free-for-the-cost-of-shipping" threads. Communicated well and paid promptly. Easy to work with.
  6. Sounds fine. I assume that you have a friend in America who is willing to ship this stuff on to you in Austria? Thanks for the information regarding the manuals. Come to think of it, that may be how I acquired my speech synthesizer. I take it you guys blasted me and my USA-only shipping policy before making your edits. I realize that most of the demand for this stuff will come from Europe, and I'm sorry that my USA-only shipping policy sucks for those of you who live there. My experiences with selling internationally have been so aggravating, however, that for sanity's sake I restricted my sales to the USA years ago. Nevertheless, I think there have been some improvements with regard to international shipping in recent years, and if I can print international postage online with tracking, and if you have sufficient positive feedback as a buyer within the community, then it may be possible for me ship to certain countries*, provided that you respect the fact that I absolutely will not lie on a customs form for you. Not promising anything, but I'll look into it. If anyone from the USA has made a recent international shipment and can share their experience and offer up some tips, I'm all ears. I'm not exactly sure. From what little information I could find about it online, I suspect it to be a terminal emulator of some sort. I have no PEB, however, so I've never been able to test it or any of the other disks I have. *Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Belgium, Great Britain, Germany, France, Netherlands, Denmark, Spain, Switzerland.
  7. I've decided to see if there is any interest around here in these (and a few more) items. Whatever gets no takers here, will go to eBay. http://atariage.com/forums/topic/247616-fs-ti-99-4a-stuff-edu-carts-utilities-disks/
  8. Taking offers on what remains of this TI stuff as one lot. It weighs 4 lbs., so domestic shipping will be $6 to $17, depending on destination. Here's what's left. Addition and Subtraction 1 Addition and Subtraction 2 Alien Addition Beginning Grammar Demolition Division Division 1 Dragon Mix Early Learning Fun w/ manual Early Reading Meteor Multiplication Microsoft Multiplan w/ disk Minus Mission Multiplication w/ manual Multiplication 1 Number Magic (White Cartridge) Number Magic (Black Cartridge) Number Readiness Numeration 1 Numeration 2 Reading Rally TI-Writer w/ disk Touch Typing Tutor Bear in mind that I have no idea whether the two disks work or not. I don't have a PEB, so I cannot test them. Before I list these things on eBay, I thought I'd check to see if there was any interest in them around here. My apologies for making a "taking offers" thread. The folks over in the TI section of the forum provided some very helpful information in regards to the rarities of these items, but beyond that and looking at sold listings for the same/similar items on eBay, I don't have enough information about the value of these items to confidently set prices. Eight of these carts come with a manual (see photos to match manuals to carts). All manuals have a small section of the lower right corner of the back cover cut away. BTW, can anyone tell me why almost every TI manual I've ever had is like this? All carts have been tested to at least their title screens. None of the disks have been tested because I have no way of doing so. I won't break up the cart/disk combos of E/A, Multiplan, and TI-Writer. These will only be sold with their cart and disks together. Paypal only. I ship to the following countries. USA, Canada, Austria, Belgium, Great Britain, Germany, France, Netherlands, Switzerland. 9. @Ksarul & schmitzi Thanks for the information. Very helpful. I take it then that there is nothing in this lot that is worth parting out?
  10. Yeah, the four or five lists I've found are quite divergent. I have ~40 educational games I plan to part with, and I'm trying to determine which (if any) are worth selling individually and which should be sold in a lot. One list says game X is "Very Rare" while another says "Uncommon". Confusing. And what of all these label variants?
  11. Edit: Turns out to be a dimensional weight issue. eBay is actually undercharging for shipping.
  12. There are several TI-99 cartridge rarity guides online. Which one do you feel is the most accurate? Thanks.
  13. Oh, Man! Oxyd, TaskMaker... Giving me flashbacks. I doubt that any of these discs had those particular games on them. These were mostly MacAddict discs from late 90's, 2000, and early 2001 that I kept around because they were packed with official Apple software updates and were really the most convenient way for me to archive that stuff.
  14. If you want any of this stuff, today is the last day to let me know. I won't be keeping any of it into the new year. Thanks.
  15. ALL GONE Over the next little while, I'll be offering some "free-for-the-cost-of-shipping" stuff in this thread. Whatever I can't interest you guys in will be thrown in the trash. USA only and Paypal only. PM if interested. Please be prepared to transfer funds quickly. I'm not willing to hold this stuff. It's first come, first served. And because it's only the shipping costs that you'll be covering, which will be exact, I'm comfortable requesting that you transfer funds using the "gifted" payment method, so that I don't get stuck paying any additional fees. PC Games Fallout Trilogy - Disc in case, covered by outer cardboard sleeve. Ice Wind Dale II - Two loose discs with manual and map. Blackthorne - Disc in case with insert Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault - Four disc set in case (broken hinge) with manual and outer box Tie Fighter Collector's Edition - Disc in case with manual Under a Killing Moon - Four disc set in case Super Pong Console I haven't tested this unit. The tip of the start button has worn or broken off, but what remains of it seems to function fine for its purpose. However, it may need to be repaired. Battery terminals have some corrosion on them. Weighs a little over 3 lbs., so shipping will be $6-$12, depending on your location. Manual and cover inserts combos. - No disc or cases. Photos on request. Gunvalkyrie (XBOX) Hulk (XBOX) TimeSplitter Future Perfect (XBOX) - Label on cover of manual Prince of Persia Warrior Within (XBOX) Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 - (360) Silent Hill Homecoming (360) Games - I have no reason to believe they don't work, but I have not tested these. Photos on request. Sonic Unleashed (360) - Platinum Hits. No Manual. Borderlands 2 (360) - Complete SW: The Clone Wars/Tetris Worlds (Promotional Copy) (XBOX) - Case, Disc, and Tetris Manual. No manual for Clone Wars. Adventures of Tron (2600) - Loose (this one I tested) Classic Macintosh Stuff *Pre-OS X* 2 Educorp disks #4601 (Soundmaster V.1) and #2128 (Essential Inits) Morph software package in box with manual Descent II (Sealed) Stack of 14 compilation discs from various Macintosh magazines, etc. containing all sorts of useful utilities, shareware, software updates, and game demos. Music CD's Imperial Bedroom - Elvis Costello
  16. You can't dig down to them? Also, that's not the original Lode Runner.
  17. Yeah, it’s not a very challenging game. It was probably a bad idea to require players to complete the game on its lowest difficulty level before allowing them to unlock anything harder. The game is also relatively short, so I was considering going back through both campaigns now that I’ve unlocked the “Hard” difficulty level, but I suspect that “Hard” just adds more enemies and gives them longer health bars. I doubt the AI sees dramatic improvement.
  18. Devil May Cry 2 (PS2) A decent hack-and-slash held back by unsophisticated AI that doesn’t demand any tactical variety from the player. Button-mashing is sufficient throughout, and it gets a bit repetitive. An atmosphere and sense of desolation is well-realized, but beyond that, there is nothing in the game to elevate it above the mundane. (6/10)
